~ Chapter 34 ~Step two

The cold stone walls in the navy headquarters seemed to hum with the success as Commander Lira stood in front maps tracing her fingers on her targeted spots, admiral Seraphim enters the room then sis in the Admiral chair.

- Admiral Seraphim : Now what step two ? I am sure you not just letting them play mistrust only what's the end goal?

Commander Lira's calm expression faltered for a moment as she heard Admiral Seraphine's question. The admiral, ever perceptive, turned toward her, eyes sharp as steel.

    - Admiral Seraphine: "You've detailed how we'll further sow discord, but what exactly does Step Two entail beyond just making the pirates fight amongst themselves?"

Commander Lira nodded, clearing her throat before stepping closer to the map on the wall. With a firm finger, she traced the lines between key pirate territories and explained the broader scope of their next move.

    -  Commander Lira: "Step Two is not just about deepening the chaos. It's about crippling their infrastructure entirely. The pirates rely heavily on supply routes to stay afloat—food, weapons, and ammunition. Our goal is to target these supply chains and turn the strongest pirate factions against each other by making them believe their own are responsible for the attacks."

She moved her finger to highlight the routes leading to several key pirate strongholds.

   - Commander Lira: "We will strike their storage depots, raid their supply ships, and ensure that it looks like their fellow pirates are responsible. We've already planted the seeds of doubt, but Step Two is about making them desperate. When they're low on supplies and trust, they'll make mistakes."

Admiral Seraphine's gaze sharpened as she looked at the map, understanding the brilliance of the plan.

    - Admiral Seraphine: "And once they've crippled each other, that's when we strike directly?"

Commander Lira smiled faintly.

    -  Commander Lira: "Exactly. But there's more. During this stage, we'll also begin sending out misinformation through pirate networks, thanks to our embedded agents. We'll spread rumors that Alexandria and Elara are growing too strong, that they're planning to betray the other pirates to the navy for their own benefit."

Admiral Seraphine raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

    - Admiral Seraphine: "Ah, clever. Use their growing influence against them. Make them the scapegoats."

Commander Lira nodded, pleased with the admiral's approval.

    - Commander Lira: "Exactly. By the time they realize what's happening, they'll have no allies left. That's when we move to Step Three and take them down directly."

Admiral Seraphine considered this for a moment, then gave a satisfied nod.

    - Admiral Seraphine: "Very well. Proceed with Step Two. Let's turn the pirate world against itself and watch them collapse."

With the orders confirmed, Commander Lira saluted and left the room, already preparing for the next phase of the operation. Step Two had begun, and soon, the pirate world would be in ruins, ready for the navy to seize control.
