The cavern was suffused with an unnatural chill, and thick mist swirled around Alexandria's crew as they stepped forward cautiously. Every breath felt heavy, laden with something dark and foreboding. Shadows twisted along the walls, almost as if they were watching, waiting.
A sudden, bone-chilling groan echoed from the depths of the fog. The sound reverberated through the cavern, making even the bravest among them shudder. Slowly, figures began to emerge—skeletal pirates draped in ragged remnants of clothing, their bones held together by some sinister force, eyes glowing with a ghostly light. Chains dangled from their wrists and ankles, clinking with each step.
- Alexandria: "Stay close, everyone. I don't think these are the welcoming kind."
The cursed crew shuffled forward with lifeless determination, their empty eyes fixed on Alexandria's crew. Razor raised his sword, but as he struck one of the cursed pirates, it barely reacted, as if immune to pain.
- Razor: "These things don't go down easily. It's like they're just... empty shells."
Lucy, attempting to cast a protective light, found herself struggling as the mist seemed to absorb her energy, weakening her powers.
- Lucy (strained): "The fog... it's sapping my strength. I can barely hold the light."
The cursed pirates pressed closer, hands outstretched, their movements slow but unyielding. Theo and Jax fought side by side, fending off the cursed crew with determined strikes, but their efforts seemed barely enough to keep the creatures at bay.
Suddenly, a mocking, bone-chilling laugh cut through the air, louder than the chains and moans of the cursed. From within the fog stepped a tall, dark figure—Captain Mordecai "Darkjaw" Thorne. His iron jaw gleamed as he grinned, watching the crew with a look of dark amusement.
- Captain Mordecai: "Well, well... look who wandered into my little playground. Razor, Jax, Hilda... Blackwell's former little pets, now under new management."
The three stiffened, their faces twisting with a mixture of anger and discomfort. Mordecai's taunt echoed in the mist, reaching the rest of the crew as they fought desperately against the cursed pirates.
- Captain Mordecai (mockingly): "Thought you could just switch sides and no one would notice? Alexandria? Really? She doesn't have the bite Blackwell had, not even close."
Jax's jaw tightened as he met Mordecai's gaze, his grip firm on his weapon.
- Jax: "We know exactly who we follow, and it's not the likes of you."
Mordecai's grin only widened as he shrugged casually.
- Captain Mordecai: "Loyalty, huh? Let's see how far that gets you."
He raised his hand, and with a signal, his living crew of ruthless pirates charged from the shadows, joining the fray with the cursed guardians. Alexandria's crew was now caught between the relentless undead and Mordecai's vicious men, both eager to tear them apart.
- Hilda (urgently): "We're outnumbered. These aren't just ordinary pirates—they're bound by something dark."Razor glanced at Alexandria, determination sparking in his eyes.
- Razor: "We need to break through, Captain, or we're finished."
