As the first rays of dawn broke over the harbor, Alexandria felt a surge of excitement mixed with a tinge of apprehension. Today marked the start of her long-anticipated journey. She took an early bath, then prepared a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast to settle her nerves and fuel her for the day ahead. After breakfast, she meticulously noted her mansion's address in her journal, a symbolic gesture affirming her return after the voyage.
With her suitcases packed with essentials and the mysterious journal, Alexandria struggled with the heavy luggage but managed to bring everything to the *Mariner's Whisper*. Standing at the door of her mansion, she took a moment to look back.- Alexandria : I will miss you, but I gotta do this."
The walk to the harbor was brisk, the cool morning air helping to clear her mind. Arriving at the dock, she was greeted by the sight of the *Mariner's Whisper*, towering and majestic against the morning light. The ship, crafted by Eli, was indeed a sight to behold, promising strength and adventure.
As Alexandria stepped onto the deck, her heart leapt when she saw Eli waiting for her. Overwhelmed with relief and joy, she ran to him.
- Alex : Eliiiiii! I'm so happy to see you! I thought you might change your mind."
- Eli : No way, Alex. I promised I'd be here, and I'm ready to stand by you through whatever comes our way. Let's check out the ship, and you can choose your cabin."
The tour of the ship confirmed Alexandria's hopes: each space was thoughtfully designed, from the crew quarters to the navigation room. Eli led her to the captain's quarters, suggesting she take it as her own.
- Alex : It's perfect, Eli. Thank you for making this real."
As the rest of the crew arrived, Alexandria greeted each member, but she quickly noticed that Mara, the mechanic, was not among them.
Concern washed over her; Mara's expertise would be vital for the journey. She turned to Eli, her worry evident.-Alex : Eli, have you seen Mara this morning? She's not here yet."
- Eli : I haven't seen her, Alex. But let's not jump to conclusions. Give her a bit more time; traffic might be holding her up, or maybe something last minute came up."
Alexandria nodded, trying to calm her anxiety. She decided to give Mara a bit more time while they finalized preparations for departure.
- Eli: : You're going to be a great captain, Alex. We'll make this journey one for the history books."
With a deep breath, Alexandria took her place at the helm as they waited a few more minutes in the hope that Mara would arrive.
It was 6 am the crew was ready to set sail but they waiting hoping that Mara would show up but 15 mins have passed. No sight of Mara yet but it's time for the crew to set sail.
Eli went to see Alex in her big captain cabin to finalize the last preparations he knock on the door first.- Alex : You may come in."
- Eli : Hello captain everything ready to set sail it's 6:15 am and Mara didn't make an apparition she probably change her mind about the voyage I am so sorry captain."
- Alex. ; You are my friend and first mate you can call me Alex and captain depends on you. Also regarding Mara it's not your fault she didn't show up her Knowledge would be great.
I won't force someone to join me but hopefully we find more crew mate and fighters we never know what can we come across in these waters."
