Alpha and Trekker got their stuff and dressed.. they both sat down in the meeting room with others. There were twelve rookies in total and Trekker hoped their Captain was nice.

Let's sit on the front Alpha said.

Good luck.. I'm staying back here... I am a back bencher Trekker said.

Then I'll back bench with you... Alpha said.

Just then the door opened. The deputy chief and a man got in.All the rookies stood up and saluted them .

Officers this is your Captain.... Detective Christopher Wyatt.. Connor said.

Trekker lifted his face from the ground to look at his Captain..his eyes widened when he saw who it was.He quickly dropped his head and steadied his breathing.

One Mississippi..two... Mississippi..three.....it was not working.

You okay bruv Alpha whispered to Trekker.

No... fuck my life....why is he Captain Trekker whispered.

You know him... Alpha asked.

My ex crush from high school... didn't end well Trekker said.

Say no more bruv.I got you.. I'll hide you and after this is over I'd like to hear that story Alpha whispered hiding Trekker who relaxed.

You officers at the back...if you want to let the others know what I want to say the words and I'll leave Connor said to Trekker and Alpha.

Sorry sir Alpha said.

You two are trouble huh.. first you were late now this ... Captain watch out for those two Connor said.

Sir I only see blondy ...why is the other one hiding...stand properly and move so I can see you... Captain Wyatt said.

Sorry mate Alpha whispered.

It's okay Trekker said as he moved to stand next to Alpha...he bit his lower lip and looked at the ground.

He felt eyes on him... studying him and he didn't like it one bit.aThen he felt the eyes dismissing him and he could finally breathe.

"Listen up, rookies, because this might be the most important talk of your life. This isn't just a job, it's a warzone, and you're walking into it with nothing but a badge and a prayer. Out there, it's not just criminals you need to worry about. The streets are alive, filled with nightmares you can't even begin to imagine.

You think you've seen fear? Wait until you're staring down the barrel of a gun, and you have to decide in a split second whether to pull your own trigger. You think you're tough? Wait until you see the things we do, the bodies we find-twisted, broken, and left for dead in dark alleys where no one hears you scream.

This station? It's not a sanctuary. It's a last stand. Every call you answer could be the one that doesn't let you come back. And the scariest part? You'll never see it coming. One minute, you're sipping coffee, and the next, you're knee-deep in blood, with your hands shaking and your heart racing like it's about to burst out of your chest.

So if you think you can hack it, fine. But if there's even a shred of doubt, get the hell out now. Because in this place, hesitation is death. And rookies, out there, nobody gives second chances. Not to you, not to anyone. So I'm going to say this one last time if you can't handle the hit leave... nobody is leaving good.. I'm your Captain.. you'll meet the rest of the officers at the party in the evening.. You are dismissed..and Officer Gyles you remain behind" Detective Wyatt said.

Oh boy.. I'll wait outside Alpha said patting Trekker's back.
