CRUCIBLE OF REJECTION

Chapter 22

He fucked up he really did..He undressed and got in the shower..How could he kiss his boss...his life long crush someone who had made it clear he disgusted him and didn't like him.How was he supposed to go back to work after what he did.What of his Captain had a wife or girlfriend waiting for him back at his house. How could he do this ..he let his tears fall.

He thought back to his high school...A video of him telling one of his friends from that school about his crush on the school's hearthrob circulated around the school.He never found out who took it but he was happy his classmates were more open and supportive instead of judging him.

Trekker thought about how he listened to his classmates comforted him and encouraged him to confess his love to Christopher Wyatt.Trekker was in grade nine and Christopher was in his last senior year..He decided that since the video was out already he will just confess his feelings.

The day he went to confess his whole class helped him.... somehow he ended up in the gym room alone with Christopher where he confessed and told Christopher of how he knew his schedule and how he tried to be at the same place with him all the time.

Of course he should have known that someone was recording them live and the whole school was watching.

Now that Trekker thought about.. What Christopher said to him was true.He was being a creepy disgusting stalker that was ruining his senior year and school life. Christopher had told him he wanted to finish school in peace and Trekker was ruining it because of his infatuation with him...He told Trekker straight up that he felt his disgusted and that he violated his privacy and he had no right to do that.

Trekker remembered saying.... I'm sorry many times on his head but couldn't bring himself to say it aloud.So Trekker fought back his tears and told Christopher he shouldn't have to live in disgust because of him and that he didn't mean to ruin his perfect life..he remembered promising Christopher that he wouldn't have to see his face ever again.He ran to his class only to notice they were on their phones and looked hurt.

He thanked them for everything and told them he was transfering then he left the school... called Trey's dad to come get him and moved to a new school.

Trekker stopped crying and switched off the shower.He took a body towel and stared wiping himself.He wrapped himself with the towel and sat on the toilet seat.

He was definitely sober now and he didn't feel proud of himself...He somehow kept fucking his life over and over again.He needed to move on from his crush on his Captain and if he couldn't find somebody who could help him move on.

He had kissed his long time crush and instead of being happy about he was sad..He didn't regret kissing him well until he realized he wasn't being kissed back.

He was really stupid..He wondered how he was going to convince the professor to let him transfer to another precinct..And he had just got back today..he sighed and ran his hands through his hair.
