CRUCIBLE OF REJECTION

Chapter 37

It has been a month since the incident with his brothers and Captain happened.He was glad his Captain never mentioned it again but He did notice then that his Captain tended to stare at him a lot and he was being touchy and nice.Not that he was complaining but it was not doing him justice especially when he planned on finally trying to get rid of his feelings on his boss.

He also started getting nightmares and his anxiety had resurfaced because of his brother's appearance after so long.When his Uncle and Trey noticed that they made him go back to therapy which he was glad for He went back to his old therapist... And finally understood he was never okay after leaving the Olseno's...he just buried his depression and sadness in his happiness for finally being free and away from his tormentors.

It was funny how a lot could happen in a few days.He hoped to never see the Olseno's again and mentioned it to his therapist who told him... that part of him  healing and being okay was going to talk to his old family and he knew she was right but he wasn't ready he didn't think he could ever be.

Somehow his Captain ended up one of the conversations he had with his therapist who adviced him to hear his Captain out. She pointed out that Trekker had never heard Christopher's side of the story and never allowed him to talk which Trekker knew was true because he didn't want to know the truth. Christopher had rejected him once and if he did it again he wasn't sure how much he could take it It would destroy him ...so his assumptions kept him going and ignorance was bliss ...

He had noticed that His Captain and Trey had become friends over the past month and was happy the two had bonded ..he never liked getting caught in the middle of their fights.

Trekker was brought out of his thoughts by a loud knocking at his bedroom door.

What Trekker yelled.

I've been knocking for three minutes and you weren't answering..I was starting to think you are dead Dré said.

That's shady uncle...And I could have been in the washroom you know bathing Trekker said getting up.

As if you didn't bath an hour ago..Trey prepared lunch and also we have visitors so come to the dining room dressed decently Dré said getting inside.

When am I ever dressed indecently
and what visitors Trekker asked.

All the time when you are home.. you walk around in nothing but your boxer shorts..I get it you are built well ...we all are but you work around the house in nothing but your boxer shorts and stop at every mirror to state at your own body...if I didn't know better I would think you are in love with yourself Dré said.

It's not that bad and don't worry I'll wear a vest and some sweats and what are you talking about saying if you didn't know better Trekker asked.

It is that bad and I'm talking about the seven years ... unconditional love you have for your boss and it scares me. I never commit for such a long time and I'm sure your mom didn't either so I wonder where you got it from Dré said.

You are a man whore... you have always been one and you will always be one ..I can't speak for mom but if the shoe fits....

Ahh you asshole badmouthing my dead sister... With the way you talk to me people would think I'm your peer...

Uncle you behave like a teenager.. you are in your early thirties and age like fine wine ...Why should I try to respect you when you look to be around the same age as me ...

I'll forget the respect part and take the compliments now dress up and come join us for lunch Dré said.

You didn't tell me who is visiting us ..on a Saturday too.. Saturday afternoon is family day.. you..me and Trey... Trekker said.

Just dress up and come join us Dré said leaving.

Trekker rolled his eyes.He wasn't going to dress up..Why should he be uncomfortable in his own house.He waited until he was sure his uncle was at the dining room and went to the dining room.When he got there all eyes fell on him... Trey's,His uncle's, Brandon's and Christopher's. He suddenly felt embarrassed and let out a nervous laugh.
