It has been a week since Trekker was hospitalized and he hasn't woken up yet.His department, friends and family all took turns visiting him.Christopher refused to leave the hospital and they brought him clothes and food.Chief Gregory and Deputy Chief Connor visited too.
Christopher sat near the bed looking at his boyfriend while the doctor checked on Trekker.The soft hum of hospital machinery and the faint beeping of monitors provided a soothing backdrop to the otherwise quiet room.
Trekker’s eyes fluttered open, the bright lights of the room blurring his vision. The fatigue of his extended unconsciousness weighed heavily on him, but he felt a growing sense of awareness.
As his eyes focused, he saw a doctor standing by his bed, a warm, reassuring smile on his face. Christopher was seated beside him, looking both relieved and exhausted. The sight of his boyfriend’s familiar face was comforting.
Welcome back to the land of the living, the doctor said with a gentle tone, his expression a mix of relief and encouragement. You’ve been out for a week, and we’ve been monitoring you closely. It’s good to see you awake he added.
Christopher’s eyes lit up with a mix of joy and tears as he took Trekker’s hand. Babe, I was so worried he said, his voice choked with emotion. All of us,we were so worried about you. I’m so glad you’re finally back He said.
Trekker tried to speak, but his voice was weak and hoarse. How... how long?
A week, the doctor replied, nodding. “You’ve been in a deep sleep, but your body is healing. We’ve been taking good care of you.
Christopher squeezed Trekker’s hand gently. We’ve all been here, taking turns visiting. The department, your family... everyone’s been praying for you Christopher said.
Cool..... but after....this.... you...are .. going to fuck ..the...hell... out of me Trekker said.
The doctor supressed a laugh.
Babe you just survived a very dangerous bullet wound and that's the first thing you say Christopher said smiling.
We haven't...done ..it ..I ... nearly...died...I ... Trekker said.
I understand Christopher said seeing that Trekker was struggling to speak.
You’re still recovering, so don’t try to talk too much right now. We’ll do a full check-up and make sure everything is on track. The next few days will be crucial as we continue to monitor your progress and also no strainous exercise for at least two months The doctor said.
He means no sex babe.... Christopher said to Trekker who looked at the doctor as if he grew two heads .
You understood right the doctor said to Trekker.
Trekker nodded slowly, exhaustion pulling at him but a small smile touching his lips. The presence of Christopher provided a sense of calm and hope to him .As he drifted back into a more comfortable, restful state, he knew that the road to full recovery was still ahead, but the support around him made it feel a little less daunting.

TWO WEEKS LATER
Trekker woke up.He didn't know how long he kept waking up and sleeping but he knew everytime he woke up he was with someone.His boyfriend...his uncle, his sister and brother, his best friend,His Uncle Lucas or someone from the station.
He tried getting up but the pain in his chest intensified.He sighed at least now he wasn't feeling sleepy or groggy. He looked around his hospital room it was empty today.
He wondered how things went with Ghost....he hoped he was going to be present when he was sentenced to life in prison but he knew he must be days too late.
Just then the hospital door opened.It was Trey and Serena.
Hey sleeping beauty.... finally decided to wake up Serena said smiling at him.
Hi hot stuff.... Trekker said his voice cracking.he touched his throat.
Don't worry it must be because it hasn't been used in so long.... how are you feeling Trey asked.
Like death Trekker said.
How does death feel like Serena asked.
Like me Trekker said smiling.
Urghh maybe you should have care how you speak from now on I might just press that wound near your heart Serena said smiling.
If you want to kill me do it already...this pain is killing me Trekker said.
Hey we cried for you... it's only right you get through that pain Trey said.
Oh baby..... Let's try this friendship thing again in the next life Trekker said closing his eyes.
Serena lightly slapped him.
Don't close your eyes.... Serena said.

He shouldn't fall asleep after saying things like that he may never wake up Serena said.
You are lucky I don't put my hands on women...so how are things at the station Trekker asked.
Well now the whole department knows you and Captain are an item Serena said.

No ..no she's not....it was kinda hard not to notice when he was crying like that....and refused to leave your side. I thought I loved you but that man loves you more... you got a diamond bestie...make sure to cherish it Trey said.

Since Chris.....Damn...your whole team were there watching in disbelief as their Captain cried. Sergeant Black swore it was the first time he saw Chris like that....They say he's always composed even in tough situations Trey said.
Yeah and Trey just kinda outed you Infront of everyone Serena said.
He did what Trekker said.
In my defense I wasn't thinking clearly Trey said.
What did you do Trekker asked.
Well the whole team was in the waiting area and The Johnson's arrived.. then Trey went...mom this is Christopher...And his mom was like the one dating Trek and he said yeah......boom mic drop ... everyone was stunned Serena said.
Wow.... Trey.... Trekker said.
I'm sorry Trey said.
I don't mind but did you have to do it Infront of Uncle Lucas Trekker asked.
Yeah that one didn't go well but before he said anything worse mom had him under control Trey said.
Dang I swear that wasn't how I planned to introduce my boyfriend to my family... Anyway what about ghost and Detective Arnold...I had promised Rufus to punch him after all Trekker said.
I punched him and Serena recorded.. Don't worry Rufus saw the video Trey said.
