Two weeks later

The past two weeks have been hectic for Trekker... learning to walk without disturbing his wound... having a diet and taking medicine, watching his friends, family, boyfriend and his seniors from the station come and check up on him.He was glad he was getting discharged today, He was sick of lying around doing nothing. He wanted to get back to work as soon as possible but of course his physiotherapist told him it would take another month until he could start functioning like before.

His relationship with Christopher had gotten stronger and he was glad they made up. He hadn't seen the Olseno's and was glad they kept their distance because he didn't know how he was going to ever be okay with them.

Forgiveness had to be worked for and he knew they tried to work for it and they saved his life.He was grateful to them for that but he wasn't sure if he could trust them and move forward with them.

His mom had taught him to never harbor hate cos hate was a bad thing but she did tell him to forgive at his own pace and that's what he was going to do.He sighed and sat up on the hospital bed.His bag was packed and he was waiting for Christopher to come pick him up.He hoped he wasn't going to stay at his Uncle Lucas's home but he knew it was either there or stay another month in the hospital. He didn't even have a phone with him... The doctor didn't allow him to have one.A knock sounded at the door.

Get in Trekker said.

He saw Gavin and Tyke get inside. His breath caught in his throat.Trekker looked down.He could feel his nerves working up... he's anxiety was coming and he hated it.He took controlled breaths like his therapist taught him and then summoned the courage to look at the two men.

Hi... Tyke said.

Hope you don't mind Gavin said as they sat down on the sofa across Trekker's bed.

Hi... it's...uhh fine Trekker said.

How are you feeling Gavin asked.

Like someone keeps stabbing my heart Trekker said.

Your friends told us you are heading faster and are better than you were at the beginning of the month Tyke said.

Yes I am... but I still wake up in pain whenever I'm asleep Trekker said.

You'll be fine in no time don't worry Tyke said.

Trekker nodded. He didn't know what to really say.The silence was so uncomfortable you could cut through it with a knife.

We found out why you left your old school after we couldn't get a hold of you when you were supposed to come back home for James's birthday... Gavin said breaking the silence.

Oh that.... that was embarrassing Trekker said smiling sadly.

You are dating the same guy who rejected you years back Tyke said.

He has been looking for me and we talked things out and now it's like nothing ever happened Trekker said.

Do you think that could ever happen to us Gavin asked.

I'm not sure but things may turn out for the greater good.

We never talked about that incident.... How were you back then...

I don't really wanna talk about it...it wounded me but nothing happened thanks to you too....I never thanked you for it ...so thank you for saving me back then Trekker said.

It's nothing we just wanted to help you Gavin said.

Okay.... Trekker said just then Christopher got in.

Hi baby I.... what are they doing here Christopher asked looking at Gavin and Tyke.

Hi Gavin said.

Babe let's go Christopher said.

But....

Babe...Trey is signing the discharge papers he's going to come here if we don't leave Christopher said.

Guess I'll see you two around then... Trekker said standing up.He felt his chest pains become worse and sat back down.

Are you okay Tyke asked.

A wheelchair is looking real cute right now Trekker said.

Does walking affect your wound Gavin asked.

A lot....how about I just lie down and we will leave later.. please Trekker said lying on the bed.

You are the boss... Christopher said pulling a chair and sitting by Trekker.

Just then Trey got in.

Well this is cosy Trey said looking at everyone. He went and sat next to Tyke on the couch.

Trek wants to let his body rest for a little Christopher said.

Mmh...so Trekker how are you feeling today Trey asked.

Like maybe it should have been you who got shot Trekker said.

Curse you.... you son of a bitch Trey said.

Aww... you kissed your mom with that mouth Trekker asked.

You are being real annoying right now Trey said.

Let me guess you haven't got laid in a while is that why you are so sad Trekker asked.

Okay first of all fuck you sir... secondly I was worried about you this past month and didn't have time to look at girls and thirdly Captain you better get your dude before I press my fingers into his wound ls Trey said.

I'd like to see you try Trekker said.

Okay I hate you Trey said.

Right back at yah. Maybe me being in the hospital is a good thing, finally got you to be celibate Trekker said.

That's it Trey said standing up to go to Trekker but Tyke pulled him back down.

How's uncle Trekker asked.

Which one...the one who is a pain in the ass or the one who is waiting for you to heal so he can beat you Trey asked.

The former is a dickhead the latter is an A grade asshole.... I'm asking about the latter Trekker said.

He blamed himself for your condition but I think he's okay now. Also we moved back to our apartment yesterday and Dad thinks you should go home so you can be surrounded by love Trey said.

No.... I'll visit when I want to. I miss Uncle Dré's cooking... let's go home Trekker said.

Nah ... I'll just close my eyes for a while then we can go Trey said.

So how's everyone at your house Trekker asked looking at Gavin.

Everyone is okay...when are you coming to visit Gavin asked.

I don't think that's a good idea... wouldn't want to impose and too many bad memorial Trekker said.

Oh.... Gavin said trying to hide his disappointment.

Why did you guys abuse him Christopher asked.

Chrissy.... Trekker said.

I want to know Christopher said.

No... C'mon it's okay Trekker said.

It's not okay Christopher said.

Drop it ..for my sake please Trekker said.

Okay...Trey get up...Trek is going home Christopher said.
