🎵Pokémon: Indigo League - Theme Song🎵
Episode starts.
Narrator: Last time, Ashley and her friends traveled to the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town. Her mission, to capture the Ghost Pokémon she needs to defeat the Psychic Pokémon of Sabrina. Ashley had a high-flying adventure, and made some new friends. The Ghost Pokémon hated to see Ashley go, so Haunter decided to follow Ashley to Saffron City. Now Ashley is ready to face Sabrina in the biggest Pokémon showdown of her life.
Ashley: We made it, Jigglypuff!
Jigglypuff: Jigglypuff.
Ashley: And this time, I KNOW we're gonna win! Right, Brock?
Ashley turns and notices Brock standing away from her.
Brock: Uh, if you say so.
Ashley: What's the matter?
Jigglypuff: Jiggly?
Brock: Think I'm allergic to ghosts. Kinda feel sorta dizzy.
Brock laughs sheepishly.
Ashley: You're not scared are you?
Misty: Please. You couldn't be afraid of such a cute little thing.
Haunter nuzzles Misty.
Brock: Cute. Right.
Haunter then Licks Misty and Ashley gasps as Misty is paralyzed by Haunter's lick.
Misty: It just crossed the cute line.
Misty falls over.
Ashley: Haunter!
Haunter starts crying.
Ashley: Hey, Haunter. It's really not that big a deal.
Haunter cheers up.
Ashley: Haunter, in Saffron City there's a trainer named Sabrina who uses Psychic Pokémon. Ghost Pokémon are strong against Psychic Pokémon, right? Will you help me defeat her?
Haunter agrees.
Ashley: Yes! That Marsh badge is as good as mine!
Our heroes soon arrive at the Saffron City gym.
Ashley: (That Sabrina sure showed us up last time.)
Ashley gets a flashback of her last battle with Sabrina.
Ashley: (She made Jigglypuff and me look like a joke!)
After that the flashback ends.
Ashley: This time the joke's on her!
However Ashley then notices something.
Ashley: Hey. Brock? Misty? Guys?
Ashley turns and sees Misty, Brock, and Jigglypuff standing back and cheering Ashley on, suggesting that she will go in alone.
Misty: Go give it your best shot, Ashley!
Brock: Yeah, let us know how it turns out!
Jigglypuff: Jiggly Jiggly Jig!
Ashley: Stop goofing around! Aren't you even coming in with us?!
Misty: Last time she wanted to play with us and pretended we were her bowling pins. Remember?
The scene flashes back to when our heroes were almost flattened by Sabrina's Doll.
Brock: And she almost bowled a strike!
