Felix groaned as he woke up. His head was pounding and the light, boy was it too bright.

“Good, you are awake. How do you feel?”

“Like someone took a hammer and hit me in the head,” Felix muttered while sitting up.

“Do you remember anything?” Yuqi asked.

“I remember his face and what we were about to do, thank you by the way. I don't remember his name though,”

Yuqi hummed and handed Felix a drink, “Should help with hand hangover effects and make you seem normal enough for you job thing,”

“Shit, I forgot about that, thank you,” Felix said, taking the cup noticing the bruises on the older's knuckles.

“Damn Yuqi, did you and Chan over do it practicing again?”

“Nope, I punched Hyunjin last night,” she stated looking at her hand.

Felix nearly choked on his drink and not just because of the awful taste.

“You punched Hyunjin? Why would you do that?”

“I could list about a million reasons including the fact that he still owes me a hundred dollars, but truly it is because he frustrated me so much last night I couldn't help it,”

Felix sighed, “Yuqi, I love you with all my heart, but I don't need you to fight my battles for me, so please don't punch him or anyone else again,”

The blonde pursed her lips, “I can't make promises, but I will stay out of this. This is something you want to handle and I will respect that,”

“Thank you. What time is it? I have to be there at 10:30,”

“9:30, so you should probably shower and throw on a turtleneck,” Yuqi said.

Turtleneck? What would he need to wear a turtleneck?

He stood up and looked in the vanity mirror, his eyes widening at the marks. So he didn't remember that much of last night.

Felix sighed as he got out of the cab. All he had to do was make a good impression.

   He entered the building.

“Felix Lee?” The man at the Reception desk questioned.

  “Uh, yes?”

“10th floor, Mr. Madison is waiting for you,” he said.

Felix nodded and hesitantly walked over to the elevator.

As he stepped into the elevator someone followed.

  “What floor?” The man questioned.

  “The tenth,”

   “Ah, the baby lawyer,”

Felix blinked a couple times, “What?”

“You are the baby lawyer the firm was talking about hiring,” he said.

“I'm twenty-five, not some teen,” Felix stated.

“Exactly, you're a baby lawyer. Fresh out of university,”

Before Felix could say anything the elevator dinged and the doors opened to the tenth floor.

Felix walked out, the man following him.

“Mr. Lee, you may go in. Mr. Oh, you can wait,” the secretary stated.

“Not fair, Natalie,” Mr. Oh said.

“C'est la vie,” she said with a chuckle.

Felix walked into the office nervously.

“Mr. Lee it is a pleasure to meet you, I am Will Madison,”

“It is nice to meet you, Mr. Madison,” Felix said.

“Please call me, Will. I want to be quick with this. I want you to join my firm and I know because you went to really good law school and you graduated with the highest honours others want you too.

However, if you would like you may practice under this firm for a case and if you like it here, take a full-time position, if you don't, I will still sing high praises for you,”

That was a lot to process.

“Uhm, I would love that actually,” Felix said.

  “Good,”

The man clicked a button on his phone, “Nat, can you send Mr. Oh in?”

In second the man from earlier was in the office.

“Felix, this is the head prosecutor on the case, Yoon Oh. Yoon, this is Felix Lee, he will join you on this case,”

Felix turned to look at the man.

  Shit.

It was written all over the older's face.

Felix smiled and held his hand out, “It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Oh,”

“Uh, you too,” The man said.

“Great, you two go talk. Yoon catch Felix up on the case, hopefully you guys will be ready Monday,”

The two nodded and left the office.

It was tense as they got in the elevator.

   “So…”

“Nope, not going to talk about it, we need to stay professional,” Felix stated.

“That is going to be a little hard considering we almost fucked last night,” Yoon said.

Okay, he had a point there.

“Almost, we didn't actually do anything,”

“So, the turtleneck is just fun to wear?” The older teases.

Felix clicked his tongue, “You're wearing one too, it is cold outside,” he stated.

Yoon pulled the turtleneck down a little showing the purple marks on his neck.

“I would never wear it without a reason especially since the heater is on and we'll before we were interrupted by your friends, you gave me a pretty good reason,”

   “What is this case about?”

   “Murder,” Yoon answered.

   “Sounds fun,” Felix muttered.

“I would catch you up on the case now, but I have paperwork to finish, so how about we meet tomorrow, for lunch on me and discuss the case,”

   They stepped off the elevator.

“How about coffee, still on you, smaller than lunch and less commitment,” Felix suggested.

Yoon smiled a little, “Coffee it is. I'll meet you tomorrow at 10 at the cafe across the street,”

  “Sounds good,”

Yoon watched Felix leave the building. Working with the younger would definitely be interesting.
