"Poor thing, what did you do to her, Capitano?"

"Nothing that would be a cause for worry."

Later that night, as promised, three harbingers and a captive sat at the dinner table. Two maids, brought by one of the visitors, were in charge of getting dinner ready as y/n would find herself with nothing to do except be stuck by Capitano's side.

"If she proves to be more trouble than she's worth, then you should give her to me," Dottore said simply, "I need a new test subject as it turns out."

Pantalone chuckled at Dottore's offer, though quickly intervened with his own offer, "or you can sell her. I'm sure I could get a good price."

She found herself scooting a bit closer to Capitano. He was, to say the least, pleased with her movements. Though, he wanted her to move closer to him of her own will not because of fear. No matter...

"Enough, she stays."

Dottore merely gave a wicked grin before shrugging, "fine. Have it your way. Let's move onto our other business since we had our initial fun."

Pantalone nodded in agreement, but y/n felt as if he was still contemplating on bringing the matter of selling her up once more before the night was over..

"Y/n, go eat in your room, this discussion is for harbingers alone."

She didn't ask any questions at her dismissal. In fact, she wa salad to be out of that room as she made a b-line for the kitchen to grab her food.

"If you didn't want her in here to begin with," Pantalone started, "then why have her sitting at the table?"

"To show you both what you cannot have. There are a few reasons why I asked the Tsaritsa to give her to me.. one reason is Dottore's research experiments that he has been conducting on the citizens of Snezhnaya and another being you, Pantalone, looking for a mistress to get young nobles off your back. I knew she was a viable subject for you both."

Dottore scoffed, "and how, pray tell, did you know all of this?"

"Simple. Everything regarding y/n is of my concern. That includes other harbingers putting their noses where they don't belong."

Pantalone hummed, "I'm starting to think this whole meet up was more of you threatening us to keep to ourselves. Am I wrong?"

"You are not."

"How scary. Surely you know who you are threatening?"

"I'm well aware. Now leave."

"Without dinner," Dottore mocked.

Capitano made a shooing motion before dismissing the two maids in the kitchen, "you should have guessed that your stay wouldn't have been long in the first place."
