Hours. She had been out here for hours and the outside was finally starting to get to her.

The snow bit into her as she laid there, defeated. She had ran as far as she could, but the thin layer of her frilly nightgown wasn't enough to keep her warm and the blankets she got were soaked through and packed with snow. But she still had to try and run. It was her only chance and she failed.

Then, the familiar sound of heavy footsteps came from behind her.

"No matter what I do, my snow fairy, you still want to run from me. To leave me."

She cried silently when Capitano kneeled next to her. His hand pushing into the small of her back so her front sunk deeper into the snow.

"Do you know why I gave you that book? Why i brought you to my room to read?"

She shook her head, her lips trembling.

"Its because I wanted you to see what you are to me. Your my snow fairy and, well," he chuckled darkly, "I wanted to see what little fairy would try if she was given a chance to escape."

His hand traced the small of her back. Hus fingers digging into her skin.

"How should I punish you? Would you like to be chained outside and forced to survive in the blizzard? Maybe you would like it if I stripped you and forced you to crawl back to our home. Or perhaps you want me to just take you here and now. The cold is one thing, I can take it. Can you?"

She whimpered a soft 'no.'

The captain merely scoffed at her pathetic whimper of an answer as he pulled his hand away from her back, and then in the next moment, he had gently lifted her into his arms.

"You're lucky that this was your first and hopefully only escape attempt, so I will let you off with a warning and the fear of what will happen to you if you do this again."

He adjusted his grip causing her head to fall against his chest. Her whole body shivering against him.

He couldn't deny that he quite liked the feeling of her being held helpless against him. It gave him a sort of .. thrill.

"Now, my snow fairy how will you like our day to end and our next to begin?"

She leaned into him as she finally gave up on escape. This was her life now. She would just have to except it.

"Can you keep me warm?"

He held her tighter still. He'll keep her warm alright.
