A/N sorry theres been no updates im midway through moving houses 😭 Tw for physical abuse.

A few months have passed since Autumn's assault, since crawling further into her shell slowly she was coming back out thanks to the help of Her brother and Mia. Reece didn't know exactly what happened but noticed a change in His younger sister so stepped in for support.

Autumn was now starting Year 10. Reece and Mia were starting Sixth form. For her Gcse's Autumn chose: Art, childcare, History and sociology. These subjects truly defined her as a person. She had a creative bone in her so art was a perfect option. Childcare as deep down she cares for others therefore she chose it to help children like her. History as she was a brilliant essay writer and was infatuated with old buildings. Lastly sociology as she was very quiet and observant the subject would be clear as a crystal.
For A-levels Mia chose business,psychology and English literature. Business was her favourite option as one day she wanted to be a business owner or co-owner so she could be rich. Psychology was something she always took an interest in finding out why people are the way they are and lastly english literature. Mia hated reading however she could argue with her all mighty so this was a subject for her. Reece chose sports studies, business and engineering. This was all chosen by this father as all the subjects he wanted to choose were 'too girly' as his father said. Roger was also displeased with Autumn's options as in his words "what will you do with them i only understand you picking business to get rich like me the rest is useless" For Mia's mum she just wanted her daughter to be happy so didn't ask any questions.

The 3 was all currently loving school, it was a great escape for the knight siblings. That was until that time of year... parents evening. The time of year Roger would get a lot more angry and abusive. He believed grades defined the family but Aut and Reece were worth so much more than a number or letter on a sheet of paper. They were both under so much pressure.

It was now time to head to school and they were met with the headteacher holding the siblings report cards. They both were experiencing hot flushes. They felt queasier than ever. "Right daughter lets open yours first" Autumn immediately began fiddling with her jacket as Roger read out "7 A* ok i accept that, 1 A thats ok its only in Childcare useless anyway and 1. FAIL?! YOU FAILED" Autumn didn't even look up she knew which subject it was. It was business and she failed it because it bored her so much she wrote nothing. Roger acted like this was the end of the world. "i will deal with you later." Both Reece and Aut were terrified they knew what he meant" Reece ok your turn "Failed engineering. why am i not surprised. You're not a real man. B in sport, could have been worse boy and C in business.
god what is it with my children not having a business bone in their body its as if i didn't raise your right." The pair stood in shame, most parents were happy if their children just passed one not theirs though at all one tiny mistake would cost them so much.

After conversations with all the teachers Roger became more and more aggressive to his children they knew they were in for hell as soon as they reached their door. The door should be safe space for them instead it was a place of uncertainty, dread and panic.

They arrived to their household and as soon the main door shut roger downed a glass of whiskey and started hitting his children the same way you would hit a tennis racket when playing tennis.
