{Poppy's outfit}

Poppy was currently at work. The 16 year old had just gave a couple their food. Just then, she heard the sound of snapping.

A rude man, who seemed a little older than Poppy, was clicking his fingers. "Excuse me." The man tried to gain Poppy's attention. "Waitress?"

Poppy walked over to the man and his friend, plastering on a fake smile. "Hi, what can I get you?"

"We need some—" The rude man goes to speak, but gets cut off as Poppy snaps her fingers in his face.

"Is that annoying?" Poppy raised her eyebrows, continuing to snap her fingers in the man's face. "Is that obnoxious and rude?" Poppy carries on snapping her fingers. "Would you find it distracting if someone did that to you while you were working? Oh, that's right, you don't have a job."

"Damn, dude, she burned you." The other man speaks, laughing loudly.

"Oh, no." Poppy snapped her fingers in the other man's face now. "Do not think we're on the same team. We have nothing in common. I wear knit hats because it's cold outside, you wear knit hats because you probably have a bold spot in your hair." Poppy sassed. "You have tattoos to piss off your dad. My dad loves me no matter my mistakes." Poppy continued. "And finally...you think snapping your fingers is the sound that gets you service. I think if you continue that then you're gonna get punched in the face."

"Sorry." The two men mutter apologises, obviously very embarrassed.

"That's what I thought." Poppy forced a smile, walking over to different customers to take their orders.

It was a few hours later.

Poppy was now at home and hanging out in her bedroom with Hayley.

"She's really cute." Hayley cooed, stroking Poppy's pet bunny Coco.

"I still can't believe Warren got me her." Poppy smiled in awe.

"Probably because he's in love with you." Hayley smirked, nudging her best friend.

Poppy scoffed in disbelief. "He does not love me. It's way too soon." Poppy denied.

"Sure." Hayley hummed in disbelief.

Poppy playfully rolled her eyes. "Enough about me. How's your love life going? Any boys asking you out?"

"Well, some geeky kid did, but he kept whining about tests, so I said no." Hayley pulled a disgusted face. "I mean, my love life is so boring that geeks are the only boys asking me out."
