{Poppy's outfit}

5 weeks later.

After many nights sleeping at the hospital, Poppy was checked by the doctors and finally allowed to go home. The Katsopolis girl had her cast removed before she left the doctors, so now the only injury left on her was the scar across her cheek, but the doctors said it would heal in it's own time.

Poppy slowly walked into her family home, not because she was scared, but because her father was being extremely protective of her and making her walk very slow in case something happened.

"Careful, careful." Jesse placed his hands on his daughter's shoulders, slowly guiding her over to the couch. "Just sit down, not too fast."

Poppy groaned in annoyance, sitting down on the couch. "Dad, I'm not broken."

"I know." Jesse sighed, running his hand through his hair. "I just don't want anything else happening to you."

"I'm fine." Poppy attempted to calm her father down and ease his worries. "Besides, I'm starting to like this scar on my cheek, makes me look cool, don't you think?" The teenager chuckles, attempting to make a joke out of the depressing situation.

"Don't even joke about that." Jesse shook his head firmly.

Just then, the telephone started ringing. As Poppy went to reach for it, Jesse grabbed it.

"What? So now I can't even answer the phone?" Poppy scoffed in disbelief.

"Your cast has only just come off, you need to relax your arm and let it get used to movement." Jesse reasonably said. He then placed the phone to his ear. "Hello?"

"Jess, it's me." Olivia spoke on the other line. "I know I only just left Poppy, but is she okay?" Olivia bit her lip anxiously. "Does she need me to bring her anything? I could go to the shops and get her those sweets she likes."

"I'll ask her." Jesse said, looking down at his daughter. "It's your mom. Do you want her to get you anything from the shops?"

"She could get me a normal ex boyfriend." Poppy teases, but her smile drops when she sees the look on her father's face. "Sorry." Poppy quickly apologised. "I don't need anything. Tell mom I love her." The girl then added on.

Jesse nodded, continuing his conversation with Olivia. "She said she doesn't need anything and that she loves you."

Olivia smiled in awe. "Oh, okay, well, I'll call again later just to see how she is. Tell her I love her too."

"I will. Bye." Jesse says before putting the phone down. "Your mom wants me to tell you that she loves you and that she'll call you later to check up on you again."

Poppy sighed. "You know, you and mom don't have to constantly fuss over me. I'm fine. No need to worry."

"You're our daughter. It's our job to worry." Jesse insisted.
