{Poppy's outfit}

It was the middle of the day.

Poppy decided to go over to her uncle Danny's house to hang out with Stephanie. And of course, JJ came with her. He'd been clingy to her recently, which is normal as he's a baby and Poppy's his mom, but JJ won't let anyone else besides Poppy hold him now. He even bursts out crying when Warren, his own father, tries to rock him to sleep.

"Hey, guys." Poppy beams, smiling brightly as she walks through the back door, spotting Michelle and Stephanie in the kitchen.

"Hey." Michelle smiled over at her older cousin.

Stephanie gave Poppy a quick hug. "Hey, Pops."

"Hey, Steph, you got any plans for today?" Poppy asked her older cousin.

"No, but even if I did I'd cancel them in a heartbeat for you." Stephanie playfully winked.

Poppy giggled. "Ah, good. I've missed our chats."

"Me too." Stephanie nods her head. "But I get it, you're a mom now."

"Yeah, I know, but you guys know you can still hang out with me and talk to me, right?" Poppy said to both Michelle and Stephanie with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah." Both Tanner sisters nod.

"Good." Poppy let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, and a word of warning, JJ's been extra clingy to me lately, so if he cries when you try picking him up, don't panic, it's nothing personal. He wouldn't even let Warren hold him this morning."

"Got it." Stephanie chuckled in amusement.

Just then, the sound of knocking at the back door is heard.

"I'll get it." Stephanie says as she opens the back door, only to see Nelson there. "Oh, hi, Nelson."

"Hey, Steph." Nelson greeted the blonde.

"Come in." Stephanie welcomed the boy in.

"Thanks." Nelson said as he entered the house.

"This a surprise." Stephanie comments after shutting the back door.

Michelle then spoke. "Yeah, I thought DJ dumped you."

Poppy tilted her head to the side. "Yeah, I saw it."

Nelson let out a forced dry laugh. "Well, she did."
