{Poppy's outfit}
It was Poppy's favourite time of the year; Christmas!
Right now, it was Christmas Eve.
The soon-to-be mother was currently hanging out in Stephanie and Michelle's bedroom, along with DJ and Kimmy.
Michelle walked over to her bed, holding up a paper bag in her hands. "I bought dad the greatest gift for Christmas!" The child beamed, smiling widely.
DJ hummed, looking impressed. "Wow, Michelle, a store-bought gift? No more homemade presents, huh?"
"Not that I didn't love my Tony the tiger earrings." Stephanie spoke up, playfully smirking.
"Yeah, frosted flakes make great jewellery." The youngest Tanner child grinned.
"Well, I still use my rice Crispies retainer container." DJ then said, holding back an amused laugh.
"And I wore that candy bracelet you made me for a whole day...that was until I got hungry and ate it." Poppy sheepishly smiled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"So, squirt, where's the great gift?" Kimmy asked out of interest, looking over her shoulder at Michelle.
Michelle kept the huge grin on her face as she pulled the gift out of the paper bag. "Ta-da!" Michelle beamed, showing off the present she bought for her father.
Kimmy, Poppy, DJ, and Stephanie all stared at the present silently. None of them didn't know what to say. It was a weird tie that looked awful!
"So, squirt, where's the great gift?" Kimmy repeated her question.
"Right here. See? It's a party tie." Michelle explained to them all. "Isn't it cool? Here's the cup holder so your hands are free to eat Christmas cookies. What do you think?"
Stephanie pulled a face, looking extremely disgusted. "I've never seen a tie look so..." She trailed off, but cleared her throat once DJ nudged her. "So...stiff." She randomly blurted out, forcing out a laugh.
"It's, uh...it's, um." Poppy stuttered on her words, not knowing exactly what to say. "It's very...oh, what's the word I'm looking for? Unique? Yeah, let's go with unique."
Just then, Poppy's friend Hanna walked in the room. "Hey, guys--" But her smile faded once she saw the present in Michelle's hands. "Whoa, what the heck is that?!" She exclaimed, scrunching her nose up.
DJ piped up again. "You mean, what the heck is that because you wanna buy one right now, right?"
"Uh, yeah, sure." Hanna nodded along with DJ's lie. "I'm sure my Uncle Eddie would love that as a gift."
"I'm sure dad will love it." DJ assured her little sister, not wanting to upset Michelle and make her think the present was horrible.
"Yeah. I gotta wrap it real good so dad wont know what it is." Michelle said as she walked over to the little table in her bedroom, and she then began wrapping her present for her father.
