{Poppy's outfit}
It was a bright and sunny morning.
Poppy had decided to head over to her Uncle Danny's house to see her father. The two hadn't seen a lot of each other recently, so Poppy thought it'd be nice for them to catch up. And of course, wherever Poppy went, so did JJ. He was resting on her hip after Poppy left the pram at home.
As Poppy walked in the back door of her uncle's house, she saw her dad, Kimmy, and DJ. "Hey, guys." Poppy smiled at the three.
"Hey, Pops." Kimmy and DJ smiled back at their friend.
"Hey, Tinkerbell." Jesse went over to his daughter, kissing her cheek. "Little man." He kissed JJ's cheek too. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Oh, well, Dad, if you're not busy, I was wondering if we could maybe spend some time together. Just me and you...and JJ of course." Poppy suggested. "We haven't had a father-daughter day since I was 14."
"Oh, yeah." Jesse nodded, remembering their last one. "Well, sure, Tinkerbell, that sounds like a good idea. Count me in."
"Great!" Poppy sighed in relief. "I can't wait. I'll bring myself and your adorable grandson, you just bring your car and money." She smiled cheekily.
Jesse couldn't help but grin, playfully ruffling Poppy's hair. "Cheeky." He murmured, before sitting down at the kitchen table.
"So." Poppy cleared her throat, looking over at Kimmy and DJ. "What are you guys talking about?"
"We're talking about ideas for our senior class prank." DJ informed her cousin. "You're doing it too, right, Pops?"
Poppy shook her head. "Nah."
"Oh, come on." DJ pleaded. "Just because you left school to become a mom doesn't mean you can't participate in the senior class prank."
"Yeah." Kimmy chimed in, nodding eagerly. "You've got such great ideas. You're the one who convinced the principal to start No-Homework Fridays."
Poppy smiled smugly. "Yeah, I did do that." Then she shook her head. "But no, sorry, girls. I'm a mom now. I'm not gonna spend my night doing some silly prank when I could be home with my son." She cooed, smiling down at JJ.
Kimmy shared a look with both DJ and Jesse. "Boy, she sure has matured since becoming a mom."
"Yeah." Jesse smiled proudly, watching Poppy with JJ. "I guess when I went to Bayview, we were a little more outrageous, you know? I remember one year we stole Robolard's toupee and we ran it up the flagpole. That morning everyone pledged allegiance to the rug." He smirked. "Instead of doing this—" Jesse placed his hand over his heart. "We were going like this." He laughed, moving his hand to the top of his head.
DJ, Poppy and Kimmy couldn't help but laugh.
Kimmy's eyes widened. "Hair boy pulled the hair heist?"
Poppy gasped. "That prank is legendary, Dad! No wonder people respected me at school knowing who my dad was."
