{Poppy's outfit}
It was a lovely sunny day in San Francisco.
Poppy Katsopolis walked down the steps, dragging her suitcase behind her while also carrying a backpack on her back. Poppy let out an exhausted sigh as she saw DJ, Michelle and Danny in the living room sat on the couches. "Hey." Poppy smiled.
"Hi." Both Danny and DJ wave at Poppy.
"You sure packed a lot, huh?" Danny chuckled, looking at Poppy's suitcase and backpack that looked very full.
"Yeah." Poppy nodded. "I know I'm only going for a week, but I need a lot of things for a week." She pointed out. Poppy then looked back over at DJ. "Hey, Deej, thanks for agreeing to look after Coco while I'm gone."
"It's no problem." DJ shrugged, sweetly smiling.
"Daddy, where is Poppy going?" Michelle asked her father, her face showing a look of confusion.
"Oh, well, since its mothers day tomorrow, Poppy's gonna spend the week with her mom. So she's gonna stay at her moms, step-dads, uncles, and aunts house." Danny explained to Michelle.
Michelle, who was too young to properly understand, still looked confused. "Poppy's mommy?"
"Yeah." Danny nodded. "You've met her once or twice. Her name's Olivia."
"Right." Michelle slowly nodded. "Why doesn't Poppy's mommy live with us?"
Danny cleared his throat, struggling to explain it in a way Michelle would understand. "Well, because Poppy's mommy has a family of her own that she lives with. We're not her family, so she doesn't live here."
"But she's Poppy's family and Poppy's our family, so that makes Olivia our family too, right?" Michelle assumed.
"No." DJ shook her head, deciding to help her dad out. "You see, Michelle, Poppy has two families. One with us, and one with her mom. Two completely separate families."
"It also means I get two Christmases and other stuff like that." Poppy grinned.
"So Poppy's not a full family member?" Michelle innocently asked, glancing around the room.
"No, sweetie, she is." Danny nodded.
"This is all confusing." The little girl huffed.
Just then, Stephanie and Becky walked down the stairs. The two in the middle of a conversation.
"And after the movies, Jamie's taking me to the drive-through at the burger shack." Stephanie informed her aunt. "Well, he's not driving, his mothers driving, but we have the whole back seat, so it's almost like we have complete privacy!"
"Well, that's great, Steph." Becky nodded. "It's kind of like your own little love nest...18 inches from the back of his mothers neck."
