We open to a man walking down a busy sidewalk. He seemed in a hurry due to the fact that a certain curly-haired boy was seemingly following him. Max was following him due to being sent a mission by a random.
Max usually did these jobs quick and easy. But, sometimes sinners pay extra if they want the person that he's killing tormented. This is exactly what Max was doing.
For the last couple of days, he had been a shadow on the man's back. The sinner wanted this man dead because she was killed by him over a big feud they had. The feud was over him cheating on her. She simply told Max, and I quote...
"Make sure he can't sleep at night anymore."
This is exactly what he did. He found a way inside his house and stayed there. Shifting into his hellhound form to scare him as he went to sleep. The first time the guy tried going to his room to sleep, this is all he saw....

Max stood in the corner of his room and simply pointed at the bed, beckoning him to sleep. The man literally ran out of his house as Max disappeared into the corner and stayed in the attic the whole time.
He was slowly draining his mental health before he killed him. Max made sure that he couldn't sleep and he successfully did it. The man simply stayed at hotels, but Max knew where he was because he had his scent.
He, now finally got him cornered as he saw the man duck into an alleyway. Getting to the alley, he saw the man walking down before Max followed. It was thundering, so it covered his footsteps. He took his hellhound form as he growled silently at the man.
The man looked back and saw nothing. But, as the lightning flashed through the air. He saw a black figure for a split second before it disappeared. The man screamed as he ran further into the alley.
"HELP! HE'S TRYING TO GET ME!"
Many homeless people were heavily confused as they saw nothing. But, to the man. In his vision, he saw Max slowly creeping on him. On all fours and his red eyes peering into him.
He turned into a brick wall as he slammed against it. Max saw the man fall onto the wet ground as he took a position on the emergency ladder near. The man slowly came to as he looked around before spotting Max.
"N-No! P-Please! What have I done to you?!"
Max simply stared as he said one name.
Max:"...Joan.."
Max jumped down as he bit the man's neck. He couldn't scream as the wolf-man had crushed his airway. If anyone were to try and hear them, they wouldn't due to the storm.
-Back at Max's apartment-
Ozzie and Fizzarolli were currently at Max's apartment. They simply wanted to come over and bug him. He heavily enjoyed their company since Ozzie would melt within his grasp. Fizzarolli wasn't the same, as she loved his hugs and licks from him.
