Max looked at the man as he simply smiled while chuckling at the boy.
Alastor:"My dear boy! I just need a simple task done and that will be all for the day!"
Max:"Hmm, as long as I get paid. It's fine. I just need to get back home to my girls."
He chuckled at the hellhound as he tapped his cane on Max's chest.
Alastor:"Aww, love! A feeling of which, is seemingly the most useless feeling of all."
Max:"Well, I just don't think you've been in love Alastor. I mean, you probably couldn't because—you know, you were a killer."
Alastor:"Once..."
Both of them continued walking down the sidewalk before they were in front of a hotel at the edge of a cliff.

Max:"Hmm, Hazin Hotel?—What's this place Alastor?"
Alastor:"Just a little place you have to get used to for a while you work on your task with me."
(Note, Max has never made a deal with Alastor. This is a job he was hired for with the opportunity to make money. Think of it, like his assassin jobs)
Max walked through the gates as he made his way through the hallow grounds. Alastor didn't follow far behind as Max looked into the distance to see the whole view of the city. As Alastor eased from behind him, Max knocked on the door.
Alastor:"Please! You are my plus one! No need to knock on doors' with me around!"
He chuckled darkly as he swung the door open.
Alastor:"We're back everyone!"
As Max walked through the hotel, a family picture caught his attention.
