Moving Out

The scene opens up to Moxxie and Millie's apartment. Inside, we see Max packing boxes and bags. Moxxie was helping Max collect his stuff from the apartment as they had rented a moving truck for 2 days.

Millie:"I can't believe it's already been 5 months since you been here Max."

Max:"I can't believe it either. But, I don't want to burden you two any longer with my own personal problems."

Moxxie:"You're fine Max. You're like the son I've always wanted."

Max chuckled as Moxxie scratched his head.

Millie:"So, mind telling me when you found the apartment?"

Max:"Your remember when we took down that big drug trafficker in New York?"

Moxxie:"Yeah, did you take something from there before we left?"

Max:" I took about $6.1 Million dollars worth of drugs up there and sold them. I used the money to find an apartment and it's not far from here actually."

Millie:"Ok, but my next question is how do you get to the living world?"

Max:"Loona. I told her the plan and I gave her about $5,000. She still has it on her."

Moxxie:"But, I thought you planted bombs around the facility?"

Max:"I did, but only planted the C4 on the stuff that was shown to the public."

Millie:"Alright, we'll let's go! I want to see your new home!"

Max:"Alright."

They all got into the moving van and pulled out of the parking lot. The ride to the apartment was filled with many questions from Moxxie. Millie was smiling at the two, who looked like like a father & son together.

Moxxie:"How many rooms does the apartment have?"

Max:"About 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's not a bad place either. It's very quiet and it has thick walls."

Millie:"You know Max, you surprised me and Moxxie."

Max:"How did I surprise you guys?"

Millie:"Well, you're a kind soul in a bad place. Not looking at the fact you work with us, you're the most tender and loving person I've seen in hell so far besides Moxxie."

Max:"I was raised to treat those how they treat me. You guys treat me with kindness, I'll treat you with kindness."

Millie smiled at him as Moxxie looked towards them and saw the new apartment building.

Moxxie:"Doesn't look bad kid."

Max:"Alright. You two stay here, I'm gonna get my key from the manager."

Max exited the truck as Millie and Moxxie watched him.

Moxxie:"Man, I feel strange."

Millie:"What do you mean?"

Moxxie:"I feel sad, but also happy."

Millie:"You're happy for Max?"

Moxxie:"Yes, maybe. I don't know, but it's a strange feeling."

Millie:"I'm happy. He's adjusted well to being here. And also you called him the son you always wanted."

Moxxie:"That's true. Maybe I'm proud of him?"

Millie:"You are. And that's good."

They saw Max walking out of the building with keys in his hand and the two imps exited the truck.

Millie:"Well, let's see what we're dealing with."

They walked into the 3rd floor balcony. He saw the number that was written on the paper that was given to him. Putting the key in and then pushing the door, they made it into the apartment complex.
