—A week after Oops—

Clanking sounds can be heard from the basement of the I.M.P building. We, see Max as he is hammering a gun barrel back into place. Max also had an array of bullets, gunpowder, and metal around him. He was seen as very sweaty while having his work headphones on to drown out any noises. Suddenly, the door to his workshop opened and Moxxie entered.

Moxxie:"Son!"

Max couldn't hear him as his headphones were blaring music and combined with all the hammering he was doing, it wasn't doing much. Moxxie walked up to the hellhound, who took a shotgun shell and put it full of magnesium pellets and some other things before compressing it. The short imp tapped the hellhound as Max looked down at Moxxie.

Max: *Takes off headphones* Yeah, pops?"

Moxxie:"One of your girlfriends is here."

Max was confused and looked at his phone before seeing several missed calls and messages from Matilda. He shuddered at the confrontation between them as he put on his shirt before walking and locking up the workshop.

Getting into the office, he saw Matilda seated down in the break room with a bit of a nervous face on her. Max walked into the room as Matilda's eyes lit up.

Matilda:"Hey, Max! It's good to see you."

Max:"You too Matilda."

Matilda:"Can we head to your apartment to discuss this privately? I don't want your boss to listen in on us."

Max nodded as he walked into a corner with Matilda walking behind him as they disappeared into the shadows. Suddenly, Blitzø fell onto the table as he looked at the corner they walked through with a noticeable camera in his hands.

Blitzø:"Shit!"

-At Max's Apartment-

He and Matilda exited the corner of his living room as he helped Matilda out of the corner with her looking a bit woozy.

Max:"As someone once told me, it is difficult to travel through dark corners of hell."

Matilda chuckled as Max helped her sit down and fetched her a cup of water. Matilda looked a bit nervous as he handed her the cup of water.

Max:"So, what is it you wanted to talk about with me?"

Matilda:"I ran into her a couple of days ago, Max."

Max was confused until he remembered Martha. This was many moons ago, but it was one of his major missions. It was also after this that he connected with Matilda. He was about to say something before she shushed him.

Matilda:"But, something clicked. After talking with her, we both established just how bad people were to both of us. She realized just how bad of a person she was. So, we became friends and, then she asked if we could become a couple."

Max:"Hmm, that's surprising. She realized how bad she is and accepted it. What was the answer you gave her Matilda?"

Matilda:"I said I was already in a relationship with someone, then she asked with who and obviously, I said you. But, I told her that it was polycule relationship. She was weirded out that I'm in a relationship when a whole bunch of women love one man, but then I told her all you did for us. And she wanted to meet you."

Max:"Uhm, really? Because I was like 25% part of her downfall when she was alive."

Matilda:"Well, I wanted you to meet her because she wanted to meet you after I told her about you."

Max shifted in his seat as Matilda seemingly called up Martha. After waiting a couple minutes, they both turned towards the door as Matilda looked through the peephole. She opened the door and in walked Martha.
