It was just another day for Y/n and Minji, but for most... it was the beginning of summer break... a pleasure the pair was oddly dreading.
"This is it," Minji held her breath as she waved Y/n goodbye.
"See ya," Y/n didn't feel like treating the moment as if it were special and walked out of the school campus like any other day.
"Guess we won't see each other again for a while," Minji thought to herself as she watched Y/n walk away without much care in the world.
"So, Y/n-ssi is your friend now?" Hanni ran up to tease Minji.
"Something like that," Minji wrapped her arm around Hanni's shoulder and ruffled her hair to tease her back.
Minji's friends weren't quite sure what Minji's relationship with Y/n was, but neither did the pair...
So, living each day without asking many questions was the best way to go about things.
"C'mon, I reserved us a table at that restaurant we went to last time," The rest of Minji's friends caught up and they all went on their way to celebrate the start of summer break.
For a few days, Y/n and Minji thought they'd never see each other again...
That's until Y/n went on a quick grocery shopping trip and ran into an unexpected situation.
- Y/N POV -
"I'm not easily impressed," I heard a familiar voice as I walked out of the market.
I looked around a bit confused. I wasn't used to hearing familiar voices, noises, or just anything that felt like a constant in my life.
I was so used to things coming and going... that it was odd to have a sense of recognition towards something.
"Then give me the chance to impress you. I promise I'm not like the rest," I found the source of my curiosity.
It was Minji...
And a classmate of mine.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm just not interested in dating right now?" Minji looked upset.
It was odd.
Minji looked different outside of school.
"Well, have you even tried dating?" The idiot she was talking to couldn't get the hint.
A voice in my heart kept telling me to help, but the voice in my head told me to just walk away.
"That's none of your business," Minji seemed to be able to hold her own weight.
