Y/n and Minji ended up choosing not to walk to school together the next day. Unbeknownst to the other, they felt a little odd about the conversation that had happened the night before.
Something had shifted the night before and neither wanted to face the other in fear.
- Minji POV -
"Why are we waiting outside?" I asked Danielle a bit confused.
The girls kept insisting on waiting outside the school for someone.
"We're waiting for Y/n. You won't talk so we'll ask them what's going on between you two. Now, shush!" Hanni answered.
I rolled my eyes and tried to walk into the building but was quickly stopped. "Why isn't the little loner here yet anyway?" Danielle tried to joke.
"Don't call them that," I coldly responded.
Yeah, Y/n's very popular or liked to stick with one particular friend group but they weren't a loner.
I also didn't want any labels placed on Y/n. It seemed like they had enough already. They didn't need more things to weigh them down.
I didn't like to ask questions for a reason. I didn't want to speculate either. I definitely didn't want my friends doing so either.
"Uuuhh, so there is something going on between you two?" Hanni teased.
"Look, Y/n has helped me a bit so I don't want anyone making assumptions or judgments about a person they don't know anything about," I scoffed before walking away to get into the school.
- Y/N POV -
When Minji left for school, I accidentally fell back asleep. I was only gonna wait 10 minutes after Minji left to walk to school myself but I ended up passing out.
"Crap!" I cursed as I decided to just jump the fence in the back so I wouldn't be late.
I ran into the campus in a rush and stopped to catch my breath at some point. I had to hunch over to feel like I could breathe.
"Hey, Danielle?" I suddenly heard someone greet.
I knew Danielle-ssi was one of Minji's best friends. So, I lifted my head knowing she'd be nearby.
And I was right...
My eyes fixed on Kim Minji, who looked like she had also just gotten to school.... considering that she should've entered the campus almost 30 minutes prior...
