"HEY!! HEY!!"

Y/n was yelling and banging on their bedroom window to try to get Minji's attention.

Over the week, Y/n had realized how easy it was to see Minji's room from their bedroom window. It was actually surprising how close their rooms were. The way their houses were built made the back of the house angle in a way that almost made them touch.

"HEYYY! CLOSE YOUR BLINDS!!" Y/n continued to yell.

Minji sighed in annoyance and walked over to her open window. She wasn't deaf. She could hear Y/n perfectly fine. She just felt like there was another solution to the problem that Y/n wasn't thinking of.

"Why don't you just turn around?! Or maybe not look into my room when I'm changing?!" Minji yelled.

"I'm just trying to warn you in case someone else can see into your room!" Y/n responded.

"As far as I know, you're the only one who can see into my room. So, if you have such a problem with it, I suggest you shut your eyes or close your blinds. I'm not going to close my window just because you're trying to find any excuse to be mad," Minji huffed out before going back to what I was doing.

- Y/N POV -

"Ugh, what the fuck is her problem?" I huffed out as I plopped down on my bed.

I was just trying to be nice, but everything always had to be about my anger issues.

"Whatever," I exhaled and got up to go on a walk.

I grabbed my jacket and my keys... and was about to leave my room... when I realized I should probably be nice to my new neighbor.

I walked over to my bedroom window and saw Minji-ssi sitting on the edge of her bed listening to the TV.

"Hey, you wanna go on a walk?" I politely asked.

"What for?" Minji gave me attitude.

"I don't know. You always seem bored. But whatever, I was just wondering," I exhaled a bit frustrated.

"Fine. As long as you don't get mad about me holding your arm," Minji sighed out.

"Whatever... just meet me downstairs...," I rolled my eyes and went on my way.

- Minji POV -

Y/n-ssi was being uncharacteristically nice to me. It's not like I knew them very well, but the few times we had interacted...

Y/n always seemed annoyed with me.

It was odd that they wanted to go on a walk with me.

"Can I hold your arm?" I politely asked when I lost my sense of direction.

"Umm, yeah," Y/n-ssi lowly responded.

I always felt bad when I grabbed Y/n's arm. I could feel them recoil at my touch a little. Their arm remained so stiff when I held it. It was very clear that Y/n didn't just hate to be touched, but they were scared to be touched.

"So, how do you know where you're going when you're walking all alone?" Y/n-ssi respectfully asked.

I chuckled to myself. I was very surprised that it had taken Sunbae so long to ask me that. For most people, that's one of the first things that comes out of their mouths when they interact with me.

"I use map applications that accommodate disabilities like mine. It not only tells me directions but it recognizes when I am lost. Some applications can even scan your surroundings by 5 feet to prevent you from walking into any danger," I was always happy to educate people on my lifestyle.
