Another school day went on as usual, Minji and Y/n ignored each other's existence the entire day. It was almost like the outside world didn't have an effect on their behavior inside the dorm.

"I can't believe we finally get a break from practice. It's been so brutal lately," Danielle, Minji's friend, exhaled in relief.

"Oh, Y/n-ssi!" It didn't seem like Minji was listening.

"Huh?" Y/n turned around a bit confused.

- Minji POV -

"How about I make you a nice meal after tutoring? I don't have dance practice or vocal practice today. So, I'd like to cook dinner tonight," I offered.

Y/n furrowed their brows and looked around a bit confused.

"Umm, are you talking to me?" Y/n pointed at themselves a bit confused.

"Yes, who else?" I answered a bit confused myself.

"Umm, sure. I'd like that," Y/n-ssi awkwardly answered before walking away.

I was left a bit confused, but I at least got my answer.

"Cook?" Hanni questioned.

"For Y/n-ssi?" Danielle followed.

I looked at the pair a little confused too.

"Wait, are you two dating?!" Hanni asked a little too loud.

I laughed awkwardly and shook my head. "We're just roommates," I took a deep breath.

"So, you ARE dating?!?" Danielle was acting strange too.

I playfully rolled my eyes and sighed.

"If being roommates equates to dating. Then, yes, we're dating," I teased before walking away.

"Wait!" Hanni yelled.

"We need to know more!!" Dani yelled from behind her.

"Gonna be late. Bye!" I waved as I crossed the street to the bus stop.

- Y/N POV -

It was odd.

Minji-ssi rarely talked to me on school grounds. Even when we used to wait by the school gate together, the second we entered the gate... it's like we never knew each other...

The few times she had spoken to me was to simply say hi or bye.

"What do you think? Is she losing her mind?" I asked teddy as I swept the floor.

"She must be," I sighed to myself.

I didn't really care if Minji-ssi acknowledged my existence at school or in the real world much, but that felt different.

It felt strange to have her talk to me like that in front of her friends.

"Or maybe it's me who's losing it," I groaned.

I looked over at the lifeless teddy and got my answer.

"I am losing my mind," I exhaled deeply.

"I'm home!" Minji-ssi suddenly walked into the dorm.

"You're back early," I looked over at the clock marking 5:37pm.
