Alex's POV:
I wake up to the sound of my iPhone alarm blasting and light peeking in through the curtains of my bedroom. 8:30 AM. I groan and pull the covers over my head, not wanting to get out of bed and start the day, once again cursing myself for organizing bible study on Sunday mornings. Instantly, I'm met with feelings of anxiety, what the hell did I do Friday night?
I remember everything crystal clear, even though I had a few drinks. The dancing, the bathroom, making out in my bedroom, and the fact that I would've gone further if we hadn't been interrupted.
I haven't heard from Paige all day yesterday, besides a Tik Tok that she sent me. Does she regret what we did? Was it too much? Did we ruin our friendship?
I finally decide to roll out of bed and take a quick shower to wake myself up. The water is boiling hot and I'm enjoying every second of it. When I get out, I change into an outfit for the day, and quickly do my hair and makeup. As I'm applying my lipgloss, I feel my phone vibrate on my desk.

I leave my house and start my walk over to the student union, my hands full with a box of pastries from the bakery. The walk over is cold and it's drizzling rain, and I find myself wishing for warm weather to come sooner.
When I reach the building and enter our usual room, I find Paige already inside, scrolling on her phone.
"Hey," she greets me.
"Hi," I smile, admiring how effortlessly good she always looks.
"Lemme help you," she says, standing up and taking the box of baked goods out of my hands.
I watch her as she sets everything up on the table, thinking how could one person be so perfect.
Get a grip, Alex.
"What?" she asks, noticing me staring.
"Nothing," I say, sheepishly.
"You're staring," she laughs. "Enjoying the view?"
"Obviously," I smirk.
I feel confused, unsure if I should feel awkward around her or if I should kiss her again right now. I want to kiss her again. So badly.
My thoughts are interrupted by some of our regular crowd shuffling in, taking their seats in the center of the room.
Once everyone has arrived, we start going over what we had planned for the day. We sat there, talking and listening to each other for about an hour, until our time was up and we called it a day.
