This is not the update but I am just expressing my feelings by seeing incidents happening around us . By seeing all those things i am so traumatized and by watching YouTube shorts , Instragram stories and posts and by reading ff's about that incident makes me realise that what value we women have in this society.
Rape victims are physically and emotionally will be dead by a stranger and in some cases it happened by our closed one too and whenever something like this happen many people will do candle light walk and do protest for few days and eventually will forget about the incident, and someone will blame girl for that incident saying she wore a little dress so man or men has been seduced and did rape but what has seduced in 5 years old and 59 years old? If men feels they get seduced by the dresses of women then why they leave that place silently? Or why don't they control them selves? In olden days women used roam half naked in many places but why women that time is saved but now why getting punishment even when they are dressed?
The recent incidents has shaken soul of parents who is sending their daughters for education to another place, i have personally saw that parents calling back there daughters leaving their studies being afraid of this incident and calling back the daughters back who is the one earning in the house saying it's better to die in starving rather than being a rape victim , see this one incident where it brought us , the one who is called back to home leaving studies in middle is the one who got opportunity to study in her dream college after lot of fights and struggles with her own family but this one incident again brings her where she is before two years.
We got independence after lot of struggles and after shredding a lot of blood still women of india didn't get independence, what type of independence is it when we don't have any guarantee that women who goes out will return safely or not?
I am today not only talking about rape attempts or getting abused physically but also to talk about many issues which most of us are faced.
I think this may happened in most of houses and every teenage girl will be felt that this life did so much injustice to us and eventually when they grow they might have been habituated with it.
Even in our house, we are not allowed to speak truth, if any discussion going on and if we spoke truth then immediately the wrong doing person will say that if you argue like this in your inlaws house they will burn you so keep your mouth shut or if you argue like this after marriage your husband will leave you so keep your mouth shut. I have experienced many more things when I point of my father or brother mistake or when i brought in light their mistakes and i have listened the same thing from 8th standard and still listening even now when i am doing job and every time such things happened I accused god that why he gave me voice and why i didn't born as dumb , because having no voice is better than not able to speak our heart out.No matter whether they are wrong or right but they are always right and if you show them their wrongs their ego will be hurted and to make us shut they will either raise their hands or says all those things .
And i am not blaming them for it whether their ego made them speak that way or any other but it is harsh reality of girls and women. Men has expectations in his future wife , she should always listen to him , she shouldn't raise her voice against him , she needs to love his parents, she always should dance on his tunes and they have a thought process before marriage on how to control wife , she is not allowed to talk or meet her parents without his or his parents permission.
If you ( men) listens to her as well then she will definitely listens to you, when you don't dictate her then she will never raise voice on you, if you respect and love her parents then she will also do the same and you are getting married to her not buying her as your slave, i any tradition a boy and girl has equal participant in marriage then why men needs to show their dominace on women but if women even raised her voice she will divorcee or dead ? What is this thinking on how to control wife even before marriage, you are marrying a human not any animal who needs to be controlled.
If this is questioned then definitely that girl will be dead and her death reason will be depression and she herself hanged. This is happening in many houses.
If woman asked for her right then she becomes a characterless person, if woman complains for the things she is bearing then she is playing victim card, if woman laughed loudly then she doesn't have a character she is giving hints, if she sits in her comfortable manner then they says is it way how girls will sit , i am asking there is any specific way to take breath for girls too ?
If woman questions or be silent she will be the one who is blamed at last.
And the girls mother's seeing all those things will be silent because if she doesn't behave that way then their will be no future for her daughter so she will also says not to argue even when you are right, all men are same not only men all people are same if we point out their mistakes then to shuts us they will do anything to us until their ego satisfy. Don't laugh loudly when you are outside because men has that mentality that if a girl laughed loudly then she has a loose character and approaching her easy. Sit properly because, you are innocent but not the world .
Even after knowing that we are right but because we are girl so we can't say other mistakes loudly because don't know what that person will do with us . And experiencing this we might have stopped getting hurt for this things eventually.
I know not all the men are like that their are men who respects and values women in their lives. And i know not all women are always right.If there is duryodhana then there is srikrishna too. And if there is Sita maata then there is surpnakha too.
Many girls are dieing mentally daily in their house , what is the solution for it ?we don't have safety for body and we don't have safety for our mind as well!!!
If woman wants her career then she will not have anything else other than her career why it's like that? What we have to do to stop all this?
India is under British rule for more than 100 years and we got independence only by many fights, by shredded so much of blood and many people's sacrifices and now it's 78 year of independence but women of india didn't get independence, girls we should also shred our blood and we should also sacrifice ourselves to make independent India for future generation women. Sacrificing ourselves self means i am not saying you to fight with men and shredding blood doesn't mean to kill your self.
One day you will also will be mother by shredding blood and you may have a boy child as well as girl child start your fight from then , we may not get independence but atleast our children may get . Start treating your both children equally.
If you give punishment to your daughter by any household works then give the same punishment to your son .
If you tell your daughter to dress properly then tell your son not to ogle anyone inappropriately.
If you asks help from your daughter in cooking, washing clothes then do the same with your son too.
Teach him that house hold works are not only women works but it's is human works and helping the girl in your life will not make you any less man.
Teach him to respect girls and her opinions.
Teach him girls has right to put forward their opinions and it also doesn't make you less man.
Teach both children that, for a family to be unite both husband and wife is necessary, without any of them other can't able to live .
And i know even after so many teachings they are children who do quite opposite to our teachings but atleast 3 out of 10 will be gentleman with whom we can assure girls safety.
Hope which gives us strength so let's hope atleast for independent India for women in future , even if it takes another 100 years.
