A year had now passed since June had understood that speaking from the heart could have a positive role in her life..
She had never been convinced that apologizing could be useful, she who was one of those who never made mistakes, instead she had seen how life could be mocking and unfair at the same time..

He had also noticed what the word Karma meant...
Yes, what many define as fate, that is, everything you do ultimately backfires on you..
He didn't know how many people he had apologized to over the months and how many times he had done it with Jon..

By now she had resigned herself to the idea that she would never leave Arianna..
Yes, by now he had chosen that girl and she just had to get used to it, and then she had to admit to herself that that girl wasn't as bad as he painted her..

He understood how much even just a drop of selfishness could hurt many people, but how significant apologizing could be for a relationship, or rather for healing a relationship...

She couldn't deny the fact that it hadn't been easy to tell everyone the truth, the truth that she had managed to keep hidden for so long that it hadn't been able to come out..
At the beginning not everyone understood this story, everyone except Richie and Alec who would have thought that those two, who represented stupidity, could understand something so complicated, so stupid not only Chanel but also Jon himself who didn't believe that they could be so smart...

Sometimes those two scared themselves when they discovered something new, only to then return to the same imbeciles they always were...
Because abandoning good habits, messing up life so much was of no use..

And who would have thought that thanks to those two Jon had also managed to ask his Arianna to marry him and that she would have said yes to him...

It was a big deal, one of those jokes that you don't understand at first, no matter how strange they are..
Yet exactly that had happened, so much so that even Arianna herself was almost astounded by the great changes in the guitarist and bassist..

A year determined by apologies made, for a stupid mistake, the size of a ten-story skyscraper..
It had taken a long time before they forgave her, practically a good year..
Even if it wasn't completely like that for Jon yet, he still hadn't forgiven her completely enough to return to their former friendship..
But for now it could be said that June was fine with even that situation of apparent calm that she had worked so hard to create...
She was sure that one day they would become friends like before..
But the fact that he was slowly managing to trust her again was priceless...

Certainly going from a powerful disappointment to a friendship wasn't easy, but she was sure it would happen..
Furthermore, for her, waiting was no longer a problem, because as her best friend had told her, time would cure everything..

Jon for his part had found in Arianna someone he could count on and the parents of both were happy that they would finally take the big step..
They were certainly young but they knew well that they were adults enough to decide their own destiny..
Also because Jon had made so many choices for his life, that this was obviously the best choice he could have made..

He, who was still the theme song of the group for many, would have known that he wasn't anymore, because love had struck him too and this time for real..
He had been through so much with his old relationship, that now he could finally admit to himself that he had found the right person to share his life..

He could also admit to himself that as funny as Richie was, he had always been right, the first girl wasn't for him, while this one was the right person at the right time..

The world was ugly he had to admit it, but he also had to think that with the perfect person he could have a sense of lightness and he could finally be serene and happy as he had never been..
He was satisfied with his life, he could say that he had everything he had always dreamed of, a career that he liked and soon he would have a family with the person he loved..

They had always told him that life was unpredictable from every point of view and that he would always have a choice to make..
But he had made his choice, he had chosen Arianna, he had chosen her to be happy, he had chosen the profession he loved, he had chosen what made him happy and this was priceless for him..

He really had everything, friends, a girl who loved him and loved him, music and fans who would always follow him despite mistakes, despite unusual songs or films he would have made, yes because he would never have given up even cinema was his passion and if he could combine music and cinema then he would be more than happy to be able to do so..
And who knows, maybe sooner or later it would have really happened and he would have signed the contract immediately without thinking twice..

But for now he was content with pursuing separate careers..
Also because touring was everything to him, he liked the feeling of the stage and the screams of the fans at every song..

But now a new adventure was about to begin, he certainly didn't know when it would happen and when he and Arianna would get married, but just having asked her was a step forward...
They were in no hurry, they would have done things calmly..
There would have been time, they were still young and they knew it..
But when it happened his happiness would be so great that everyone would see it and it was a promise..
