Anastasia stood in front of the church door, her wedding gown shimmering under the afternoon sun. The intricate lace and delicate embroidery of her dress seemed almost too beautiful for the stark reality of the situation. Her heart pounded in her chest as she glanced at her father, Mr. Quinn, who stood beside her, a mixture of pride and sadness in his eyes.

Inside the church, Kim Taehyung awaited at the altar, his expression a mask of calm indifference. His tailored suit and the cold demeanor he wore were a stark contrast to the ceremonial setting. His gaze was fixed ahead, seemingly unaffected by the gravity of the moment. Yet, his thoughts were tumultuous, wrestling with the chain of events that led him here.

The church was intimate, adorned with minimalistic decorations that emphasized the solemnity of the occasion. A few guests were scattered about, their presence adding to the atmosphere of restrained formality. Among them was the anonymous figure, shrouded in shadows, who observed the ceremony with an inscrutable expression.

As Anastasia and her father walked down the aisle, the soft strains of the organ music filled the air, creating an almost surreal ambiance. Anastasia's gaze met Taehyung's, and for a moment, she saw a flicker of something unspoken in his eyes—perhaps an acknowledgment of the situation's absurdity, or a brief moment of vulnerability.

The officiant cleared his throat, beginning the ceremony.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Kim Taehyung and Anastasia Quinn. If anyone has any objections, speak now or forever hold your peace."

The room was silent, save for the soft rustling of fabric and the occasional cough. The officiant continued, "Kim Taehyung, please repeat after me."

Taehyung's voice was steady and controlled as he spoke his vows. "I, Kim Taehyung, take you, Anastasia Quinn, to be my wedded wife. I promise to be faithful to you, to cherish and support you, and to stand by you in all circumstances. I vow to be your partner in life, through joy and sorrow, and to respect and honor you for as long as we both shall live."

Anastasia's eyes met Taehyung's, and she could see the cold resolve in his gaze. Her own voice trembled slightly as she began her vows. "I, Anastasia Quinn, take you, Kim Taehyung, to be my wedded husband. I promise to stand by your side, to support and care for you, and to honor the commitment we are making today. I vow to face the challenges and embrace the joys of our life together, as long as we both shall live."

The officiant nodded, "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Taehyung leaned in for the kiss, which was formal and restrained. There was no warmth, just a brief touch of lips that marked the end of the ceremony. The kiss was more an obligation than an expression of love, a mere formality in the face of their shared circumstances.
