Taehyung sat motionless in his study, the dimly lit room amplifying the suffocating silence that hung in the air. The digital glow from his laptop was the only illumination as he leaned back, staring intently at the message on his screen. His Russian secret agent had finally delivered the information he had been anxiously awaiting.

"Mr. Kim," the cold, detached voice of the agent crackled through the phone. "The full report on Ana has been sent."

Taehyung's jaw clenched as he glanced at the email containing Ana's entire life laid bare. It had taken months of surveillance, months of suspicion gnawing at him, and now it all came down to this. His chest tightened as he clicked on the attached files-one by one, the truth unfolded before him. Ana had been deceiving him from the start.

The first thing he opened was the CCTV footage of her arrival in Korea. There she was, walking through the airport like a woman with no secrets, her expression calm and innocent. His fingers gripped the edge of his desk as the video played. Innocent. That's what he thought she was. Her soft demeanor, her careful words-they had all been a lie.

He opened the next file: a detailed report of her real identity. As he scanned the document, anger began to boil in his veins. The person she claimed to be, the woman he had allowed into his life-none of it was real. It was a meticulously crafted web of lies, designed to manipulate him, to make him trust her.

"She thinks she can outsmart me," Taehyung muttered darkly, his eyes narrowing as the depth of her deception became clear. She had fooled him, the one person who prided himself on being untouchable, unbreakable. The humiliation burned deep, fanning the flames of his rage. He had been played for a fool for six months.

With a sharp exhale, Taehyung slammed his fist onto the desk, sending a glass of whiskey toppling to the floor. The shattering sound echoed in the quiet room, but it did nothing to release the fury building inside him. He rose from his chair abruptly, his movements stiff with anger. There was no more time to waste. He had to confront her-now.

He grabbed his car keys and stormed out of his study, the echo of his footsteps sharp and precise. His fury was a living thing, coiled tightly around his chest, ready to snap. His sleek sports car growled to life as he sped out of the driveway, the engine roaring down the empty streets. The city blurred around him, irrelevant. Only one thing mattered now: Ana.

As he drove, his thoughts spun wildly. How had he let this happen? How had he, Kim Taehyung, one of the most powerful men in the country, been deceived by someone so seemingly insignificant? Every memory of Ana, every smile, every touch, now felt like poison. The kiss they had shared-the one that had sparked something unexpected in him-was nothing more than a manipulative ploy.

His fingers tightened around the steering wheel. She had toyed with him, and now, she was going to pay.

Back at the mansion, the air was calm, a stark contrast to the storm that was about to erupt. Ana sat in the garden, a book resting in her lap, though her mind was far from focused on the words in front of her. The night was serene, the soft rustling of leaves and the distant chirp of crickets the only sounds breaking the stillness. Yet Ana's heart was restless.
