The group had arrived in Charleston and were now very close to the address Pope had been given by this 'Limbrey' person.
"Yeah, they're a bunch of fancy people. They've had like three governors in the family." Kiara informed them, as they pulled up next to the building. "They've run Charleston for like 300 years."
"These Kooks make our Kooks look like Pogues." JJ added. "You sure this is the place, Pope?"
"Pretty sure." He responded, as they each looked out at the house.
"Alright."
They each disembarked from the vehicle, and stood in a line outside the main gate. "Fat City, for sure." JJ commented. Pope held up the letter to ensure he had the right address. "27 King Street." He confirmed.
"Talk about home security." JJ commented looking at the points on top of the gate. "Those spikes to keep people out?"
Kiara and Pope looked up at them, with a disappointed look on each of their faces. "No." She said.
"The slave quarters are over there." Pope pointed out. "These spikes were to keep people in."
They moved past the gate and went up to the door at number 27. Pope used the knocker to let them know he was here, and it echoed throughout the neighbourhood.
"You think that was too much?" He asked them. "It echoed the entire house. That's for sure."
"Yeah I think your Dad heard that back in OBX." Rebecca told him, making the boy smile.
No one came to the door immediately, heightening their nerves. Pope knocked again, and the door opened as he was in the process.
A rugged looking man stepped out and took in the group's appearances. His eyes stopped when he came to the Heyward boy. "You must be Pope." He said, pointing at him.
"Are you Mr. Limbrey?" He asked. "Ms. Limbrey was expecting you yesterday." The man quickly corrected.
"Oh, I'm sorry. My car broke down on the way over here." He began to explain. "Carburettor blew up in the middle of Nowheresville." JJ added. "Sorry about that."
If the man was trying to worry them into thinking Pope was about to be killed, he was doing a fantastic job. "Yeah, she was, uh, real upset when you didn't show up." He confessed to them.
"We tried to call but we didn't have a number. I swear this is the fastest we could've got here." Rebecca tried to diffuse the building tension.
"She also expected you to come alone." The man continued. "Well these are my friends. They helped find the Royal Merchant too-"
"The instructions were explicit. Your friends can stay outside." Pope was cut off by the man. They were now very worried about the situation. "We're kinda a package deal, man." JJ tried to explain, but Pope shut him down, indicating that he "got this".
"We'll be right here." Kiara comforted him.
"Keep the car running."

Y/N readied himself for the jump. The train was getting ever closer and his nervousness grew with each passing moment. "Remember, aim for the coal cart!" Warpath announced, as the sound of the train made him have to shout.
The other two nodded in response. The first two carts passed by the ledge, and the coal cart was now in front of them, going fairly slowly.
"Jump!"
The trio leaped into the cart, landing onto the rocks. They quickly steadied themselves, and made their way towards the cart to the end of the one they were on.
