John B Routledge took a sip of his beer, dangling his right foot over the edge of the roof, balancing on his left one. This was a place were the teenagers liked to hang out. It was a big mansion, that was getting renovated, nobody lived there, yet. They knew they weren't allowed to be there, they knew they could get caught. They liked the feeling that it gave them, the thrill and...adrenaline.
"That's what, a three-story fall to the deck?" Said a voice from underneath the dirty-blonde haired boy. Standing beneath John B, on the neat wooden floor, was Pope Heyward. "I give you about a one-three chance of survival."
"You still give him a chance of survival, he'd be dead before he hits the ground." This voice didn't belong to Pope, no, it belonged to another boy, who was sitting besides John B on the roof. Y/N McCoy
John B gave the boy a glare, before looking back at Pope and humming. He put his index finger in his mouth and held it up, as to feel the direction of the wind. "Should I do it?"
"Yeah, jump." Said the dark skinned boy, holding out the drilling machine he snatched from under a few other objects that the workmen left behind. "I'll shoot you on the way down."
John B looked at his friend, doing finger guns and asked, "You'll shoot me?"
"Yep."
"Pow!"
"They're gonna have Japanese toilets with towel warmers." Said one of their two girl friends, Kiara Carrera, who was walking out of the mansion.
"This used to be turtle habitat, but who cares about turtles, I guess?" Kiara huffed, looking around at all the materials that laid everywhere.
"I can't have cold towels." Muttered JJ, with Y/N nodding at his sentence.
Rebecca walked out after Kie and looked up at John B and asked, "Can you please not kill yourself?" Before looking at Y/N and saying, "Y/N, this is your fault if he jumps."
Y/N looked at her with disbelief. "Why would it be my fault? He wants to jump that's on him."
"Well you're the first one climbing on the roof.
"Hey, don't spill that beer. I'm not giving you another one." JJ told John B, who still hung his foot from the roof, balancing.
When abruptly pulling his foot back, John B's beer slipped from his hold and splashed on the floor. "Whoa! Oh, shit."
"Of course you did." JJ said, a disappointed sigh following after.
Kiara had a smug smile on her face and looked forward. "Smooth."
Y/N laughed and jumped from the roof, discreetly using his mutation before looking at the can of beer that had it's content spilled on the floor. He picked it up and shook it a bit, to see how much beer there's left. "Do you want it back, there's still some beer left." Y/N asked, holding the can out to John B.
"No, you can have it." the Routledge boy replied.
"Hey, uh, security's here." Pope declared, as he leaned on the railing. "Let's wrap it up."
"Boys are early today." JJ looked down at the security with a bored look. "Humpty Dumpty, let's roll." A shout following his sentence.
"Let's go guys." Rebecca said smugly, a smirk finding it's way on her face.
"Gary, is that you?" JJ asked, laughing at him.
"Get down, John B." Pope demanded.
"It's me. Gary, good to see you, man!" JJ continued to taunt the man.
Kiara laughed from her place next to Y/N. "You're asking for it." JJ ran at them, ruffling Y/N's hair and running to their van. The rest of the group followed after him, running through the house and making their way out while shouting loudly, "Whoo!"
