CHURCH-BLUE EARTH MINNSOTA
A Pastor is at his pulpit. He looks up when a wind ruffles his hair and the candles on the alter.
Matthias enters the church
Pastor: Good Morning. Can I help you?
The Pastor comes down from the pulpit. Matthias walks forward and sits in a pew.
Matthias: I need to talk.
Pastor: Well that's what I'm here for
Matthias: Oh I've been a naughty boy. A naughty boy indeed, preacher.
Pastor: Well there's always forgiveness for us if we seek it.
Matthias: For everyone? Are you sure?.
Pastor: I like to say salvation was created for sinners. Tell me what's on your mind.
Matthias: Well I've lied. Like a lot. I've stolen. Lusted. The other day I met this man. A lovely guy, you know? Had a nice chat and then I ripped his heart out through his chest.
He blinks his eyes and her eyes goes yellow. The pastor jerks back in fear
Matthias: Does that make me a bad person?
Pastor: I know who you are. You can't be here. This is hallowed ground, Matthias
Matthias: Please. Maybe that works in the minor leagues but not with me.
The Pastor runs for the door behind the pulpit and down the stairs. He unlocks a door and rushes inside, sliding a ready to go barricade across the door. He turns to a well stocked hunter's chest of weapons and starts scrambling for something. Matthias kicks open the door with ease, breaking the wood barricading it. The Pastor starts, then throws a knife covered in Sigils at his head. He catches it easily.
Matthias: You throw like a girl and as a feminist, I use that term loosely.
Pastor: What do you want.
Matthais: A great many things but I'm getting ahead of myself. First, I want the Winchesters.
Pastor: I haven't spoken to John Winchester in over a year. You're wasting your time. Even if I did know where they were, I'd never tell you.
Matthias: I know.
He slits his throat with his own knife and he falls back into a chair, gasping, then dying. Matthias smiles and walks away.
MANNING COLORADO
The walls of the motel are covered with John's research on the yellow eye demons. Weather charts, hieroglyphics, pictures, newspaper articles, written notes, a shelf of books and more.
John sits at the desk, the Colt in front of him. Sam leans against the counter while Dean paces.
John: So this is it. This is everything I know. Look, our whole lives we been searching for these demons right? Not a trace, just...nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail.
Nathan: And that's when you took off.
John: Yeah. That's right. The demons must have come out of hiding, or hibernation.
Dean: All right so what's this trail you found?
John: It starts in Arizona, then New Jersey, California. Houses burned down to the ground. It's going after families, just like it went after us.
Sam: Families with infants?
John: Yeah. The night of the kid's six-month birthday.
Nathan: We were six months old that night?
