Red lillys-Red lilies symbolize love, passion, and desire. Their vibrant color is associated with intense emotions and can be used to express romantic feelings
The first time we sat in a field of flowers it might have been tulips but how I wished they were lillys
I shrunk right where i stood i had left my brother friends not that i had many or really anyone other than the twins, people separated themselves from me because of my betrothed Dagur the Deranged as a final peace treaty between the Berkians and Berserker tribes a way of merging the two I sighed remembering the day he came for the first time with this father...
I was maybe 12 at the time, three years older than my little brother Hiccup when he came, his father had pushed him forward forcing him to make friends with us. I had already been given my mark or name having already killed a dragon at quite the young ripe age and quite the impressive kill too a fully grown blue and purple Monstrous Nightmare i had thrown a buoy netting it not flinching when i cut off its head i was large for my age. Compared to my brother I was what some would call me as crazy, when in reality I was just protecting Hiccup. He had been cornered by the beast along with four young children he was trying to corral to the great hall. I was known as Y/N the daredevil simply because I was crazy and brave. Well people preferred to call me foolish but I preferred a daredevil abandonment of my own morals and doing what my instinct relied on. Survival of the fittest and all that.
It was as simple as that. "Dagur. The gifts." His father reminded him. Dagur, as I quickly learned, seemed irritated at the idea. Handing a small specially made childrens shield over to Hiccup where even though it was smaller than any I've seen it was large in Hiccups small noodley frame I sighed moving to help him hold it showing him an easier way. He let out a meek squeaky thank you to Dagur who let out a... deranged almost crazed look spread across his face, one I quite liked actually. He handed me a sheathed sword. A disapproving look on his face, he was... evaluating me. I unsheathed it, flicking at the sword, swinging it around before putting it back in its well crafted sheathe, a pretty design of a skrill designed on it. I smiled. "Thank you." he raised a brow clearly intrigued as i held out a gift for him as well whilst our father conversed with one another. "A... quiver?" He muttered.
I nodded leaning over, careful not to even graze him. "I heard you're quite skilled with a crossbow. The quiver holds more than just the standard thirteen- holds 26 -i believe keeps them sharp with the metal bottom." I winked, he stared. "Made it myself." I muttered as our fathers began walking over behind us. "Ah so these two are the prides of Berk?" Oswald, chief of the Berserkers, asked looking between the two of us clearly staring us down as Dagur did the same. Whilst Hiccup shrinked. I made eye contact while holding it. Oswald let out a loud bustling laugh. As our father quickly followed. "Hiccup my youngest, my son. And Y/N the daredevil already took down her first dragon! My daughter." He smiled as I looked up, giving him a short sweet one before turning back towards Dagur and Oswald.
Oswald was expressionless until his face contorted to a smile as he laughed again. "Ah! What an impressive lassy. This is Dagur, my oldest. My son." Dagur straightened up. "Y/n, Hiccup, why don't you two take Dagur on a tour around Berk?" I looked up at my father nodding. As Hiccup already began walking we walked closely together following. "The forge," I gestured to the blacksmith shop, lazily. "So this is Berk... its. Smaller than I imagined. I stifled a laugh. "Yeah not much room for expansion with the dragon raids." I scoffed, rolling my eyes. We continued walking. "The dragon killing arena." I shrugged, wanting to walk past. "You get your first kill in there," he asked, leaning through the bars pointing down at the ground. I scoffed. "Nah, during a dragon raid. Tell you what, we go to the woods. I've got a decent cove there and I'll tell you all about my first dragon kill." I winked really just wanting to get out of town, the adults pulling their young ones closely pointing at me and whispering to one another about Stoick's crazy child and the other a fishbone. He gave me another crazed smile. "Sounds easy enough." He smirked.
