Pink azaleas- These bright pink flowers can represent nostalgia for childhood homes, as well as elegance, femininity, and taking care of yourself and your family

Reflection on the past makes different things a priority. Suddenly big issues don't seem so big!

“Hiccup! Did you miss me?” Dagur announced sarcastically, striding towards my brother at an alarming speed. My arms fiddled with the rope that bound my wrists, mindful of any Berserker soldiers watching you.

Thankfully, their eyes were on Hiccup and Dagur facing off against each other. I took a quick step back, holding my hands near the cage as Astrid, the brilliant Viking she was, began trying to untie the tight knot Dagur had created. “I missed you, every day for 3 years I thought about you!” Astrid backed away immediately as Dagur looked back at me and the cage, Hiccup’s surprise turning to worry. As I finished fiddling with the rope leaning my head down I blew Tidals whistle. “Sorry, Hiccup! He got the drop on us when we were searching the-“
Astrid began quickly getting interrupted by a very upset Dagur,  “QUIET!!!” He roared at her, instantly silencing her. But Astrid stood firm as I did, despite feeling a chill run up my spine. Knowing what Dagur was like before he was sent to prison, any moment could be her last in his company. The same went for all of my friends.

“Can’t you see that my brother and I were having a moment?!” He snapped as I backed up further against the cage bars to cover Astrid where she stood. If he did decide to try to harm her, he’d have to go through me first. “I’m not your brother, and we were not having a moment.” Hiccup retorted with an equal nastiness in his voice to Dagur’s. He stood up properly to his full height as Dagur got closer to him.

“Oh, well I was…but look at you! All grown up! And quite the lady’s man I wager?” He nudged Hiccup aggressively in the ribs while winking at him. If my hands weren't supposed to be tied up, I would’ve covered my face with my hands already. “It looks like the Haddock siblings have done some maturing! Both of you look ready to lead your own tribes…” I did not like what Dagur insinuated with that last sentence, or the way his eyes scanned me as he said it. The whole settling down thing came to mind as I diverted my eyes away from his gaze.

“Dagur, what do you want?” Hiccup asked shortly, trying to get Dagur’s attention off me and back to him. I heard a splash around the boat as I saw Tidal’s tail swoop up. My eyes diverted back to Hiccup who was clearly not in the mood for Dagur’s ‘brotherly’ nonsense right now. Though, apparently Snotlout had the answers Hiccup was seeking. “Duh! He’s here for the jewels!” Snotlout flicked the blonde hair out of his face for the 5th time since he’d woken up.
“You still have that?” I questioned, looking back at him with a slightly shocked expression. I would’ve assumed he’d have taken it off by now considering the dire situation. But then, I had to remind myself that it was Snotlout.

“He’s not getting my family’s jewels! And I’ll protect them at all costs!” Tuffnut announced, with Ruffnut for once not having anything to add apart from simply shaking her head. Her mouth seemed strangely full… then it clicked that's where they had the family jewels in ruffnuts mouth because of course they did.  “Oh my Thor…” I gave a quiet, exasperated sigh and closed my eyes for a few seconds. I could feel the annoyance radiating from Astrid too as she leaned against the bars behind me. “What was that, love?” Dagur asked, turning around again from facing Hiccup to look at me.

“Nothing.” I replied, tilting my head up slightly and standing up straighter with my arms closer to me. He could not know that the knot binding my hands was looser. Unfortunately though, Dagur walked over to me with an emerging grin and took my waist in his larger hand to pull me over to him and Hiccup. Hiccup watched closely as Dagur guided me to where they stood, his eyebrows furrowed and lips pursed in worry and anger at seeing Dagur touching me so freely.
“Haven’t gotten rid of the Greek Chorus, huh? Anyway, I’ll be taking the jewels. His too!” I stifled a giggle as my suspicions about why Ruffnut had been so quiet were confirmed as she was elbowed in the stomach and around 20 different gemstones fell out of her mouth.
