I giggled as Dagur kissed at the top of my head my dragons on our Little ship Tidal swimming alongside us. “What do you say we finally have that honeymoon?” I blushed, gently hitting him. “Once you heal and reflect.” He placed his head on top of mine. “Like a reward?” He gave me those puppy dog eyes he had given me over 3 years ago asking me if i was proud of him for not killing Tuffnut disguised as Buffnut. My breath hitched. “Yes, Dagur like a reward.” I smiled leaning on his chest again looking at the horizon sunrise.

Let's rewind after a game of Maces and Talons with Viggo Dagur realized just how expendable and undervalued he was. with heather as a prisoner he began to question WHY he was still doing what he was doing with no real objective as to why. So after releasing Heather he came practically crying to me. And we left just like that with how many times I had run crying to him after fights with Hiccup recently or just overall stress. I was more than happy to feel I could do the same for him as that anchor.

Dagur's pov.
Months passed in peace. Recently we kinda ship wrecked on an island after drifting off at sea for a while. She had told me we could always find another ship on dragon back but after Tidal and I went out and found a cave behind a waterfall. We decided to stay. She often left for hours at a time to my request and would come back with dinner or things she found on the island even just injured dragons. I stood on top of the waterfall cave with a spyglass in my hands. A dragon hunter ship has been there for a couple hours just…. There. Starrlight was out chasing a storm that had recently passed by. Bloodborne was with Y/N so she was safe and Tidal was in the river below the waterfall. So what could the hunters be here for?

I saw something land on the boat, a dragon only slightly smaller than Bloodborne and its rider was taller than Y/N so… Hiccup! I saw them try to fly off but they eventually crash landed on the island, so I set down the spy glass. Watching as the hunters docked on the island. Y/N should be fine… but. I ran down to the cave writing to her quickly, and that her brothers on the island. She's gonna be pissed!

Judging by the dragon wails and screeches they should be over here. I watched as Hiccup clumsily ran away from a large group of hunters. “Keep looking! The Night Fury went down somewhere around here!” A dragon hunter yelled to his men, only five of them, six in total. Toothless screams told them he was right in that cave covered in brush. I sighed, making quick work of the group knocking them out. Now then to deal with Hiccup. Hiccup had a rock in his hand as I entered the cave.  I brushed my hands together to clean off some of the brush. “What?” I smiled. “Hello, Hiccup!” Hiccup was frantic looking between me and Toothless.

“Dagur?! I wouldn't do that if I were you! Toothless!” Toothless struggled to even move, roaring out in pain as Hiccup lunged at me rock in hand. “Easy, brother! Hiccup, I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to help! Seriously? You need to calm down.” I got him around my arm so he couldn't attack me anymore pulling him out to show him the unconscious hunters. “You?” I let go of him, going back into the cave. “Plenty of time to answer all your Hiccup-y questions later! Right now, we need to move your dragon before these guys wake up. Or you can handle them yourself.” i shrugged he sighed as i got in the back helping him move Toothless,

“Okay, keep it moving! That a boy, Hiccup!” I thought I was being encouraging but apparently not everyone thinks of me that way. “Don't need the encouragement!” He shouted back. Stopping for whatever reason caused me to accidentally push his head into Hiccup form the back. He growled at me. Rude. “Hi there! Oh, c'mon! If I was gonna harm you, don't you think I would've done it by now?” Hiccup just stared at me, “I don't know! You're pretty crafty!”
