Y/N was helping her best friend, Percy, get ready for a quest. She, Percy, and Annabeth were going on a quest and, being the organized person she is, Percy asked Y/N to help him make sure he had everything he needed.

Music was playing in the background and Y/N had started to dance around while she put things in her bag, also marking stuff off of her list.

"You really like dancing, don't you?" Percy asked, Y/N stopped dead in her tracks and turned to him.

She gave a goofy smile, "You already knew that."

"Yeah, I know. But it's just so cute when you dance." The son of Poseidon said, causing a light shade of pink to dust the girl's cheeks.

"Well," She disregarded the complement, "I think I'm done. What about you?"

"You I think I'm good."

Y/N saw his ball point pen, otherwise know as his sword, Riptide, lying on the table. She grabbed it and stuffed it into her pocket, she wanted to see how long it would take for him to notice he had forgotten it.

With that, they walked out of the cabin and headed for Half-Blood Hill. Annabeth was already there waiting with Chiron.

"Hey, you two." The daughter of Athena greeted.

Chiron explained how Argus would be driving them as far a he could without getting into trouble with the gods.

When Percy started to walk towards the car
Y/N realized that he still hadn't noticed that he had forgotten his sword. "Forgetting something?" She asked.

Percy thought for a moment before  walking up to Y/N, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. She went crimson red, "I meant your sword, seaweed brain!" She exclaimed as she shoved the pen into his chest before running into the car.

He grabbed the pen, stuffing into his pocket, smirking.
