Luke Castellan ~ Traitor

Y/N, the daughter of Artemis, walked with her friends, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth. "What should we do for the rest of the day?" Percy asked. The group had already finished their training for the day.

"I'm gonna go back to my cabin." Y/N said. The other all gave said okay and she walked off towards Cabin 8. She had been a little upset at them the past few days. The reason why was that they wouldn't let her join them on the quest to retrieve Zeus' Master Bolt.

"Hey, Y/N" A new voice said. She looked up and recognized her friend Luke. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover didn't know that she had been hanging out with the boy the past month. They also didn't know about her crush on him.

"Hey, Luke. What's up?" She asked, wondering what the boy was doing near the Artemis Cabin, since she was around ten feet away from her doorstep.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me tomorrow. As in a date." He asked, looking down slightly.

Y/N smiled brightly, "Of course."

"Great. Meet me at Zeus' fist at noon tomorrow?" He offered.

Y/N was ecstatic, "I'll be there." Luke walked away and Y/N entered her cabin. As soon as she closed the door she jumped up and down in celebration.

The next day Y/N got dressed in her favorite outfit and did her hair before walking to Zeus' fist. Luke was already there waiting for her. "You look amazing." he complimented, admiring her.

"Thanks. I could say the same for you." She smiled. Y/N was playing cool, but she was freaking out inside.

"Follow me." Luke grabbed the daughter of Artemis' hand and started walking. They walked until they reached a blanket stretched out on the grass. On it, was a basket with food in it. 

"Wow." Y/N gasped. "It's beautiful." Luke led her to the blanket and the two sat down. He handed her a plate of fresh strawberries picked from the strawberry fields in Camp Half-Blood.

"Did I do good?"  Luke asked. 

Y/N thought that good was an understatement. "You did better than good. I love it." She put a strawberry in her mouth.

"I'm glad you do." The son of Hermes responded. The two talked for a long time, soaking up the other's presence.

"Y/N?" Luke said suddenly. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

Y/N could tell he was nervous due to the fact that he was fiddling with the hem of his shirt. She smiled, "Yes, I would love to." 

Luke practically jumped onto the girl. He hugged her tightly. "Then there's something else you should know." His face darkened.

"What is it?"

"I stole the lightning bolt." Luke admitted. Y/N's breath hitched. "Will you be my partner in crime."

The girl thought for a moment, "Yes."

That was the discission that changed the rest of Y/N's life. After a while of being Luke's girlfriend behind her other friends' backs, it was time for Hermes to Kidnap Percy. 

The son of Poseidon's friends, Grover and Annabeth, came to save him. They weren't much of saviors, though, because the got caught as well. "Clarisse and Y/N will save us!" Percy told Hermes confidently. "You should be scared. Clarisse is great at fighting and Y/N is amazing with her bow and arrows." The boy bragged.

Just then, Luke and Y/N walked in, hand in hand. "Y/N? Luke?" Annabeth said in disbelief.

"How could you do that to us?" Percy asked. "How could you betray us?" 

"If I'm being honest, I feel more betrayed." The daughter of Artemis said. 

After a short time later, the trio freed themselves, just at the same time Clarisse arrived. They all started to fight. Y/N and Luke worked together gracefully. They knew how to dodge every attack, and how to fight back.

After What felt like an eternity later, Hermes' house started to crack and crumble. "That's gonna be a slight problem." Y/N told her boyfriend. 

"Yeah, it is." He agreed.

"Y/N." She heard a voice. It was Percy's. "Come with us. You're not a bad person. I know you." He tried to convince.

The girl stood up for herself. "Percy, becoming Luke's girlfriend was one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and we love each other. I'm not going with you."

Annabeth, Clarisse, and Grover took this as a sign to step back and let Percy step in front. The son of Poseidon pulled out his sword, Riptide, and tried to attack the couple. Before he could get to them, Luke grabbed his girlfriend and escaped out of his father's cracking house.

Quickly they fled to a new place to start a new life, a place where Percy, Annabeth, and Grover would never be able to find them. 

Y/N was still freaking out over the events of what happened that day. "It's okay, Y/N. We're fine, now. You're okay." Luke assured, pulling her into a hug.

After the daughter of Artemis' breathing slowed, Luke pulled back a little. Just enough to kiss her. The kiss was loving and passionate, just like the ones she had grown accustomed to over time.
