Being the daughter of Hades, Y/N was always a little bit distant from others. Except for one person in particular. Percy Jackson.

He was the only one that she could open up to. Kind of. She still liked her privacy and never opened up completely to anyone. But that was okay to him.

When Percy started dating her, he knew that she wouldn't be completely honest about her feelings with him. That was the person she was. He also knew that she didn't like to be touched. It overwhelmed her too much.

Well, that's what everyone thought. In reality,    Y/N loved to cuddle. Physical touch was her love language, she just didn't show it.

Y/N was having one of those days. It was a day where she just wanted to sit in her cabin and sulk. But her boyfriend wasn't going to let her be alone. I mean, he's Percy, what was she expecting?

"Can I just be alone to wallow in my own self pity?" Y/N crossed her arms.

Percy scoffed dramatically, "Leave you here? Never!" He put a hand on his heart.

"Fine." Y/N sat down on her coffin-shaped bed. Percy noticed that her eyes had been glossy, as if she was about to cry at any moment. Her eyes had been like that all day, and it worried him.

Y/N put her hair up and out of her face and laid down on her side, facing Percy. "Come here." She muttered.

The son of Poseidon walked up and laid down next to her. He tried to give her as much space as possible, for her comfort. He was surprised when she curled up on his side. He wrapped an arm around her and smiled, "I didn't know you liked to cuddle."

"I just make people think that." Y/N explained into his side. "Daughter of Hades, you know?"

"Yeah..."

Y/N snuggled closer to Percy. The boy almost laughed in disbelief at how cute she was being. He had never seen this side of her. He loved having the privilege of getting to cuddle with Y/N. "Are you gonna tell me what's wrong with you today?" He asked.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure." Y/N admitted. Her eyes were closed as she spoke, "I guess I just need a break from everybody else. Not you, though. You make my day better."

Those words made Percy smile brightly, though Y/N couldn't see the happiness on his face. She had already fallen into a dreamless sleep, cuddling with her boyfriend. Who knew she was so cuddly? Percy thought, smiling down at her.

When she woke up, that's when the teasing started. "Cute little Y/N likes to cuddle." Percy pinched his girlfriend's cheeks.

She swatted his hands away, "Tell a single person and I'll raise the dead to come and kill you." She threatened with a deadpan expression.

"Okay, okay, I won't." The son of Poseidon raised his hands in surrender as they walked through camp.

"But it was pretty cute." He said. Y/N lightly hit him on the chest. "What? It was!"

"Let's just keep walking, kelp face." She grabbed his hand and led them to the pavilion.  "Bye." Y/N got her food and sat down at the Hades table alone. Nico was gone again, so it was just her.

Percy sat down at the Poseidon table after he gave his offering.

It didn't take long for the two to eat and meet back up at the Poseidon Cabin. "Well...Now that I know you like cuddling, can we?" Percy cheekily grinned.

"Sure."

The son of Poseidon laid down on his bed and opened his arms. Y/N laid down in his warm embrace. Today was a good day for Percy.
