Grover had always been a shy person. More or less he was pretty good to talking to the people he knew.
When he developed a crush on Y/N L/N, he could no longer hold a normal conversation with her. The satyr was constantly stuttering and fumbling his words when he was around her. He was so embarrassed by it that he had started to avoid her.
Whenever Y/N tried to walk up to him he would scramble to make an excuse on why he had to leave.
Eventually, Y/N had enough. "Grover." She said sternly.
"Oh, uh, hey, Y/N. Oh! Look at the time." Grover looked at his wrist.
"You don't even have a watch." Y/N crossed her arms over her chest. "That's not the point. The point is, you've been avoiding me." The girl was no daughter of Athena, but she was still smart.
The satyr nervously chuckled, "What-what do you mean? Avoiding you? Noooo." He swatted his hand.
Y/N scoffed, "You're horrible at lying. Now tell me why you've been avoiding me." She demanded.
"Umm, I haven't." He said as more of a question than a statement.
The girl rolled her eyes, "Just tell me. I don't bite.... Usually."
"Yeah, um, I know you don't." Grover scratched the back of his head.
"That's not an answer to my question." Y/Nwas starting to get impatient.
"I really like you!" The satyr blurted out.
Y/N bit her lip, trying not to smile, "Come again?" She had heard him the first time, she just wanted to hear him say it one more time.
"Y/N, I really like you." Grover slowed his words.
The girl finally allowed herself to grin, "I like you, too, satyr boy." She leaned in an kissed him passionately.
At first, Grover didn't know what to do. I mean, his dream girl was kissing him, what do you expect.
After the satyr had gotten over his initiatial panick, he kissed Y/N back.
When they finally pulled away, Y/N said, "I don't just like you, Grover, I love you."
Grover couldn't contain his smile, "I love you, too."
