Leo sat under a tree with his girlfriend, Y/N. She was laying her head on his lap, holding a book up so she could read it.
The son of Hephaestus wasn't tired of just sitting there. He would never get tired of being with Y/N.
"Is that book good?" Leo asked the girl after only five minutes.
"Well, I just started it, but so far its pretty good. I've read better, though." She answered, looking up at him with bright eyes. He nodded and she turned her attention back to the book.
Another thirty minutes went by and Leo noticed that the book had lowered until it was gently resting Y/N's face, her hands still holding it.
He came to the conclusion that she had fallen asleep. The boy carefully lifted the book off her face and slipped a bookmark inside. He knew if he didn't he would be hearing about it later.
Leo sat the book to the side and admired his gorgeous girlfriend. The way her skin glowed in the sun. How her hair framed her face just right. He even admired the scars she had from the battles she had fought. The son of Hephaestus thought that Y/N L/N was perfectly imperfect.
He watched as her eyes fluttered open. They weren't completely open. Just enough for her to see the boy in front of her.
"Am I just that boring that you had to fall asleep on me?" Leo teased as he looked down at her.
Y/N closed her eyes an muttered sleepily, "You make me feel safe." Then she fell asleep again.
Leo's heart fluttered. He was madly in love with the girl who laid on his lap.
