Nico Di Angelo ~ Dead?

"I'm fine." Y/N said, though her voice was strained and weak. "Don't worry about me..."

Tears welled up in Nico's eyes as he looked at his dying girlfriend. He put his head to her chest.

Bump bump

Her heartbeat was slow and hollow. As if a part of her had already gone.

Bump bump

That's was the last time he heard her heartbeat. "Y/N!" He sobbed, clinging onto her lifeless body. "Y/N, you can't leave me!"

Percy pulled the boy off and fought as Nico tried to fight his way back to Y/N. The son of Poseidon dragged him all the way to the Hades Cabin.

"Stay here, I'll get Chiron." Percy said. Nico was still sobbing. Why does everyone I love, leave me? He thought.

Before Percy could walk out of the door, Hades appeared in front of him. "I found your girlfriend." The god had the body of Y/N slung over his shoulder.

"Y/N!" Nico gasped, looking up.

Hades laid the girl down onto Nico's bed. The boy could see her chest rise and fall. She was alive.

"Thank you, dad." Nico wiped his tear stained face.

"Yeah, it's whatever." Hades replied before melting into the darkness. Nico guessed that he went back to the underworld.

Y/N was still unconscious, but Nico was just happy that she was alive. The boy laid down next to his girlfriend. He didn't fall asleep, but he laid there until he saw Y/N's eyes flutter open.

"Y/N." Nico breathed out.

The girl smiled softly, "What happened?" She asked.

"Nothing. It's okay now." The son of Hades hugged his girlfriend tightly. They stayed like that for a long time. Y/N didn't know why Nico needed the comfort, but she didn't mind it.
