Leo Valdez ~ Time Of The Month

Y/N was on her period. "Ugh." She groaned when she got yet another cramp.

Y/N hadn't eaten all day so she decided to head to the pavilion. Maybe eating would help. Probably not, but it was worth a shot.

She sat down at G/P table and grabbed something to eat. She walked up to the fire and burnt her offering, praying for her cramps to end.

She didn't want to talk to anyone. Luckily, most of her sibling had already left, so it was just her and a few others.

When Y/N was about halfway done with her food, a certain son of Hephaestus sat down next to her. "Hey, Y/N." Leo Valdez greeted.

The girl gave a soft smile to her boyfriend, "Hey"

Leo started to talk about the invention he was working on and Y/N listened, but she had to admit, he was getting on her nerves. The girl loved Leo, but when she was on her period, it only took so much to get her to snap.

Y/N finished her food and put away her plate before walking to the training arena, maybe being active would help get rid of her horrible cramps. The son of Hephaestus continued to talk her ear of as she walked, using a lot of hand gestures. Eventually, she couldn't handle it. "Stop! Just stop!" She yelled.

Leo recoiled. Y/N realized what she did and tried to apologize to him. Before she could, he muttered a quick 'sorry' before running away. The girl groaned in frustration and guilt.

She continued her way to the training arena, she needed some time to cool down before she would talk to Leo. After and hour of aggressively slashing at dummies, she walked to the forge, hopefully Leo would be there.

He wasn't.

She checked the Hephaestus cabin. Nope. The pavilion. No. She checked almost everywhere. Except the lake. It was her last option.

She walked down to the water, spotting the Hephaestus boy sitting on the dock with his knees tucked close to hir chest.

Y/N sat down next to him, dangling her feet off the edge. "I'm sorry." Leo quickly said, avoiding the girl's eyes.

"What? Why? I should be the one that's sorry." Y/n told him. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm having one of those days."

Leo looked at her sympathetically before his face contorted to worry when Y/N groaned and clutched her abdomen. "What wrong?" The boy asked his girlfriend.

All the girl could mutter out was, "Period." Leo immediately understood and grabbed her. Holding Y/N close to his chest.

They stayed like that until Y/N's cramps went away.
