Nico Di Angelo ~ Nightmares

Nico sat in his cabin, awake. It was late at night, he knew everybody else was asleep, but he couldn't seem to drift off.

He was afraid to sleep due to the nightmares that plagued his dreams when he did.

The son of Hades knew that there was only one person that could bring him comfort. That person was his best friend, Y/N L/N

Nico knew that she would fuss over the fact that he didn't sleep if he decided not to go see her. He also didn't want to wake her peaceful rest, even though he knew she wouldn't mind.

After about fifteen minutes of debate he choose to go see Y/N. So he shadow-traveled to G/P cabin.

The son of Hades walked to her bed, careful not to wake any of her siblings. "Y/N" He whispered as her gently shook her shoulder. When she didn't wake up he shook her a little harder, "Y/N" He repeated.

Nico watched as her eyes fluttered open, "Nico?" Y/N whispered, confused on what the boy was doing in her cabin during the middle of the night.

"Yeah..." He suddenly had no idea want to say. If Nico were being honest, he had developed a small crush on the girl. Okay, maybe it was a little more than small, but that's besides the point.

"What are you doing here?" Y/N asked. I instead of answering, Nico grabbed her arm and shadow-traveled back to cabin 13.

Y/N had gotten used to the feeling of
shadow-travel after the first few times Nico had snatched her away from random conversations. That didn't change the fact that she shivered every time he did so. "Are you gonna explain?"

The son af Hades sighed and looked at her, "I couldn't sleep." He admitted sheepishly.

Y/N guided the boy to his coffin-shaped bed. "How can I help?" She asked as she pushed him onto his red velvet sheets.

Nico got under his blankets and hesitantly opened his arms, not wanting to verbally ask her to cuddle with him.

Y/N hesitated for a second. The boy of her dreams was asking her to kay in his be with him. She shook it off and crawled into the bed. Anything for Nico, right?

The son of Hades immediately pulled the girl into his chest. Subconsciously playing with the ends of her hair, he whispered, "Thank you."

Y/N closed her eyes, "Anything to help you."  She said.

Eventually, the girl noticed that Nico's breathe had evened out and his body had gone limp. Knowing that he was now sleeping made her at peace, causing her to fall asleep not long after.
