Y/N had always been great friends with Luke. So much so, that she developed a crush on him. Well, it was more than a crush. She was in love with him.

At the moment, she was at the Poseidon Cabin with her sister, Annabeth, and her two friends, Grover and Percy.

Percy had always been protective over Y/N. He was like a brother to her. "Sleep near me, it'll be safer." The son of Poseidon instructed.

Y/N obliged, and they went to sleep.

When Y/N woke up, she was no longer in the Poseidon Cabin. Instead, she was on a train.

"Oh, my gods." The daughter of Athena muttered once she realized she was trapped in a cage. What is happening? She thought anxiously.

She looked around frantically for any clue on why she was there when she spotted someone. Y/N recognized the man as Hermes, god of travelers and thieves.

"Why am I here?" She demanded, though her voice was shaky.

Hermes chuckled darkly, "The reason your here is to lure Perseus Jackson to me."

"What do you need from him?" Tears brimmed Y/N's eyes.

"I want revenge for him not accepting my offer for him joining our side." Hermes voice was loud and booming.

Y/N's heart broke when she saw Luke join the god's side. "Luke?" The word came out as a whisper as she started to cry. Luke's eyes softened when he saw her, but he didn't respond.

At the Poseidon Cabin, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover had all woken up. Annabeth was coming up with all sorts of strategies to get her sister back, while Grover and Percy were preparing items that they would need.

Back at the train, Hermes gave his son instructions. "Luke, watch this girl. I have other things to do." The god was referring to how he was about to get revenge on Percy.

Y/N kept crying at the fact that she was scared, Luke was working with his father, and Percy was about to get hurt. She cried until Luke spoke, "Stop crying." His voice sounded distant.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" Y/N wiped her tears.

Luke looked at her sadly, "He's my dad. I have no choice."

"But you do have a choice. You can choose your own side. Hermes doesn't have to choose for you." The daughter of Athena seemed desperate to get him back. If she were being honest, she was desperate. Y/N couldn't imagine a world without Luke in it.

Luke didn't respond. Instead, he slowly and carefully walked up to his father. Being the son of Hermes made him quite good at stealing things. That talent came in handy, for he grabbed Hermes' keys and slowly walked back to the cage Y/N was in.

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover had arrived. The trio started to fight Hermes.

Luke unlocked the door and pulled the girl out, engulfing her into a tight hug. "I'm sorry."

Y/N hugged him back, "Don't be."

"I have to tell you something. I'm in love with you." Luke blurted out. Y/N's breath hitched. "I've loved you for a long time now. I just had to tell you."

The daughter of Athena smiled. "I love you, too, Luke." With that, he pulled her into a passionate kiss. 

The son of Hermes pulled away first. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled. 

"Of course." Y/N grinned back, before her face became serious again.

 "We have to go." Luke urged.

"What about the others?" Y/N questioned. She couldn't just leave her friends.

"Luke!" They heard the booming voice of Hermes. "Why would you let her go?" Anger was written all over the god's face.

"You can't make my decision for me, dad. "Luke stood up for himself. "Y/N is my girlfriend now and I won't just sit around while she's locked up in a cage." The boy's voice was firm.

This seemed to confuse Hermes, temporarily allowing Percy to attack the god. The son of Poseidon defeated Hermes. "Thought revenge meant you actually had to win against the other person." Percy said.

Y/N chuckled and shook her head. "Let's get home." 

They went back to the Poseidon Cabin. "I'm really, really sorry for kidnapping you." Luke looked at his girlfriend. "And I'm also sorry for working with Hermes." He turned to the others.

Luke looked surprised when everybody accepted his apology and forgave him. "Where are you going to stay now?" Annabeth asked.

"Well, I'm not really sure, to be honest." Luke looked down. 

Y/N scooted closer to him. "You can stay with me. Only if you want to, though." She offered sheepishly.

Luke grinned. "I would love that." He pecked her lips.

After the boy moved in with Y/N, they started to become a lot happier. Luke was happy that he didn't have to worry about his father anymore. All he had to do was be with Y/n, and that made him feel like the luckiest person alive.
