Y/N and Percy were studying strategies for the upcoming game of capture the flag in G/P cabin.
The two had been best friends since they went on their first quest together to retrieve Zeus' Master Bolt. They were now fourteen.
"We could-" Y/N was about to suggest a plan when the door swung open, in walked one of the girl's siblings.
"What are you two doing?" S/N wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at them.
Y/N rolled her eyes, "Studying. Now close the door, you're letting the heat in." She scolded. Due to the fact that it was mid summer, everywhere was hot. Y/N was particularly glad she wasn't a child of Hephaestus because she knew that it would be hotter than lava at the forge.
"Actually, I think I'll just let you two have some time to yourselves." S/N said as she walked back out the door, this time closing it behind her.
Y/N and Percy got back to what they were doing and a couple of hours had passed. "I should get going." Percy suggested.
"Okay, I'll be here if you need me." Y/N answered.
Percy grabbed his thing and without thinking said, "Bye, N/n. Love you."
Y/N, also not thinking, replied, "Love you, too. Bye."
Neither of the two realized what they had said until Percy was back at his cabin. Let's just say the next day was awkward.
