Yeah, I have ALOT of explaining to do...
The day didn't start off that way because I woke up just as confused as when I went to bed.
We kissed, I was trying to take things further but then he just rebuffed.
Why?
When I stepped out in the morning, the guys were all gathered near the front door. They looked ready to hit the slopes.
Preston looked up from his wallet as he was putting his earrings inside. When we made eye contact, he looked away.
He was being such a weirdo and I didn't like it at all.
I folded my arms and stared at him.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked.
All of the boys looked at me, standing in my ridiculous pajamas that Mom had bought me. A t-shirt with Frozen characters on it and blue pants with snowflakes all over.
I looked like a fucking toddler.
I just know Mom thought they were cute and that she was packing on theme. That or she was actually trying to humiliate me.
"What are you wearing?" Dylan laughed.
"Shut up," I whined.
The boys shared a laugh at my expense before Preston stopped and gave me an apologetic look.
"We're going back to the mountain since it's our last day here," he shrugged.
My face changed from annoyed to disappointed.
I realize I wasted this entire trip being mad at Preston but now when I thought things were going to be fixed between us, he leaves to go snowboarding with the guys? He knew I couldn't snowboard. There was no way I could keep up with him on the Black Diamond slopes.
"Okay..." I said softly. "You guys have fun, I guess..."
As they left, I stood there watching Preston gather his things and walk out the door.
Did he not even want to talk about what happened last night?
Leah and Alyssa woke up about a half hour later. We decided to go off and do our own thing while the guys were gone.
We got breakfast in the lodge's restaurant and then hit the spa and the hot springs.
The hot springs were basically a bunch of giant hot tubs surrounded by rocks and snow since it was artificially made. Regardless, I was in my element.
I am not a wintery vacation kind of girl. I'm more of a Bahamas, cruise ship, Hawaii kind of person. Being in that heat put me in a much better mood.
After the springs we did a little shopping in the village square and then returned back to the condo. The girls kept complaining about how time had flown by and how they didn't want to go home tomorrow.
For me, it felt like the day was dragging on.
All I wanted to do was see Preston.
When we got back, the boys were there showering and getting comfortable for the evening. Alyssa, Leah and I went back into our room and laid out all of our clothes that we'd bought.
I stared a the brand new black sweater, skirt and stockings I'd bought. I only bought them because I thought Preston would like it. It wasn't really my style but I knew I could pull it off.
I wanted to wear the outfit for him but I needed a reason to.
"What are we doing tonight?" I asked the girls.
