Mom, I pray to God you never read my diary because there is some pretty explicit shit in here and if you've made it this far... May the lord have mercy on your soul.
With Preston lying beside me snoring like a locomotive, I am wide awake. Between that and the fact that tonight was one of the best nights of my life.
After everyone returned from the skating rink, we were all still pretty wired. The guys ordered room service and were messing around in the kitchen area. Alyssa and Leah joined me on the couch while we listened to the music Preston had playing on a speaker.
"So... are you two like back together or..?" Leah asked.
A smile stretched across my face as I nodded my head.
"Yes."
We all started squealing and giggling as Alyssa wrapped her arms around me.
"Yay!" She shouted. "Finally, oh my God!"
"Shhhh!" I hushed them, embarrassed that Preston might hear.
I peaked over at the kitchen and he definitely knew what we were talking about. He was just smirking and shaking his head. I couldn't help but shrug my shoulders and look away, returning my attention back to the girls.
"So now that you guys are back together, can I tell you something?" Leah asked.
"Anything," I smiled.
"Levi and I are kind of official too."
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed, finally feeling genuinely happy for my best friend and her newfound love. "Now we can go on double dates and hang out all the time."
"Hey! What about me?" Alyssa crossed her arms.
"Well, you can come too," I assured her.
"Yeah, as a fifth wheel," she rolled her eyes.
"We'll find you someone," Leah pat her on the back and we all laughed.
When the food came, the guys all joined us in the living room and laid out everything they ordered. I looked at the large assortment of very different foods and raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you guys get so much food?" I wondered aloud.
"Are you serious?" Preston asked, dropping onto the couch beside me. "You like to eat everything."
I smiled up at Preston, appreciating that he knew me so well. When he draped his arm over my shoulder and I snuggled up close to him. All was right with the world again.
"Hold on, are you two back together?" Dylan pointed between us looking cozy on the couch together.
"YES." We all groaned and rolled our eyes.
Preston shot Dylan a look and rubbed his temples.
"Dude, keep up."
"Why are you so slow?" Elijah asked, knocking Dylan upside the head.
"Okay, an hour ago you two totally hated each other. How is that my fault?"
Dylan plopped himself down on the accent chair and picked up the remote.
"What should we watch?" He asked.
"We should watch a horror movie," Preston suggested.
Everyone was pretty agreeable to that but I was shooting daggers into Preston's head with my eyes. He knows I hate horror movies.
Somehow, I made it halfway through the movie The Conjuring.
Well, I know how.
I had my eyes closed most of the time and I was clutching to Preston like my life depended on it. He seemed to like me holding onto him, gripping his T-shirt every time suspense was building.
